being able to do yearly comparisons is a bit mad and my new fave thing, but they are sooo eye opening 🥹 a year ago guessing my way & watching YouTube, vs now, learning from my own experiences & mistakes ❤️‍🔥 I wonder what they’ll look like in another year 💗💕🧚🏼🍃

it’s been one year since I made the bouquet that changed everything 🧸…

I had been watching Jemma Jukes | Floristry Educator 💫 for a few weeks by this point and literally obsessing over all of her work, dreaming of creating something like she could, just feeling overwhelmingly inspired by her 🩷

I took my first trip to the wholesaler with my sister, chose anything pink 🤣 I didn’t really know what I was doing but I was determined to make something of this and really believed I could do it. I was massively humbled by the actual mechanics to making a bouquet, it looked so easy from the outside 😭 the wrapping was another story, I think I spent about 4 hours just trying to fold everything perfectly 🤣

Ultimately the result wasn’t amazing, in fact far from it 😭 but what mattered to me was the interest, the energy I had when making it and the pure ambition that I wanted to do this and I would do everything possible to make it happen 🫶🏼

This bouquet definitely lit the flame to go for it and that’s why it’s special to me 🥰

Shortly after I chose to book on to a class with Jemma Jukes | Floristry Educator 💫 . the best decision of my life! 🩷

We’re 9 months into HallesBlooms now. Still so much learning to go! 🙌🏼 - p.s it’s definitely not easy, comes with a lot of sleepless nights and sometimes incredibly long hours, back pain 🤣 and second guessing of myself, but it’s all part of the process 🫶🏼💕
