Here is today's schedule of activities at Castleland Community Centre:

From 09:30 - 13:30, we have GodFirst. Godfirst Church are part of a growing movement of churches that are passionate about advancing the gospel through church planting and strengthening local churches. ⛪✨

From 13:45 - 16:45, we host The Church of Pentecost-UK. Their charitable objects include advancing the Christian faith, relieving sickness, relieving financial hardship, promoting and preserving good health (by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind, including counselling) and advancing education in such ways and in such parts of the UK. 🙏🕊️

From 15:00 - 16:00, join us for LAMDA acting classes. These classes offer a fun and creative way to explore performance, from fairy tales and Shakespeare to modern theatre and imaginative characters of all kinds. Held every Sunday from 3–4 PM at Castleland Community Centre with Kate, sessions are open to anyone wanting to try acting for fun or build confidence, with the option to work towards recognised LAMDA qualifications. 🎭🌟

Here is today's schedule of upcoming activities at Castleland Community Centre!

From 09:00 - 11:30, join us for Dinki Dragons ⚽ This is a fun-filled football session for young toddlers to keep fit and active whilst learning to listen, have fun, learn new skills, and make new friends. This is followed by a fun baby introduction to the world of football through independent play and some structured activities 🐉

From 18:30 - 21:00, we have Friendly Bingo 🎟️ As one of our longest-running groups, everyone is welcome at the Friendly Bingo Club. Refreshments such as tea, coffee, cakes, and sandwiches are also available, with Bingo, Hoy, Fliers, and raffles for all ages 🍰

🏫 From 10:00 - 15:00, we have the SEND Academy. This session aims to help young adults with learning difficulties develop skills to enter work or volunteer placements.

Good morning! We have some wonderful activities coming up today at Castleland Community Centre.

From 10:00 - 11:00, we have Flying Start Parent and Toddler Yoga. Flying Start is a Welsh Government programme supporting families to give children a better start in life. 🧘‍♀️👶

Then from 16:00 - 20:15, we have the Olivia Fleur Dance Academy. Established in 2023, they offer RAD Ballet & Tap classes for age 3+ in various locations across Barry. 🩰✨

We'll also have the lovely The Nelson Trust and Vale Communities for Work Plus onsite offering free support, no appointment necessary.

Unfortunately, the Clothes Bank won’t be attending again as Andy continues to recover from major surgery.
If you or someone you know could help with driving support for the Clothes Bank, please get in touch with them on 07884 465062. Insurance is covered, you just need a valid licence 🚐

Good morning everyone! We have a wonderful day of activities lined up for you today here at Castleland Community Centre. Here is what is coming up:

From 09:00 to 12:00, we have NYLO. This is a free 6 week programme for families with children aged 5 and under to help parents/carers feel more confident in feeding their family well. 👶

From 09:30 to 12:30 and 12:30 to 16:30, Helping Women Thrive (Drop In) is open. The Nelson Trust’s women’s centres provides support and a warm and safe women-only environment where a wide range of problems and challenges can be addressed in a non-judgmental way, guiding and empowering you to make positive changes in your life. 🌸

From 13:00 to 15:00, Communities For Work Plus (VOG) is here. This is a free drop in, no appointment needed general support and advice service provided by Communities For Work. 💼

Also running from 13:00 to 15:00 is Foodshare & Warmspace. Warmspace opens to take your Ticket at 1:00pm, and Foodshare opens at 1:30pm. From 15:00 to 22:00, we have Miranda Lee Dance. They offer dance classes and private tuition of Ballroom and Latin dancing for adults, and they also host dance weekends, Balls, and themed dances. 💃

From 19:00 to 20:00, Narcotics Anonymous will be holding a meeting. If using drugs is causing problems in your life NA can help. NA exists solely so that its members can support each other to stay drug free and to help others achieve and maintain a drug free recovery and lifestyle. NA is free, and it costs nothing to attend our meetings. 🤝
