Dear loyal customers

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that A~C Bistro has ceased trading due to unforeseen circumstances.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to address some of the rumours that have been circulating. A~C Bistro, owned by Imogen Lightfoot, will not be reopening at any premises in Barrow.

I have received a number of emails and phone calls regarding a potential move to another premises — I can confirm this is not the case. Some former members of our team may be pursuing their own ventures, but this is entirely separate from myself and has no connection to A~C Bistro.

Thank you so much for your support over the last 2 years — it has meant the world. 🧡

Next Thursday, A~C Bistro will be CLOSED — and here's why! 👇

We have been asked to make a whopping 1,100 sandwiches for the legendary Keswick to Barrow Walk!🎉🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

How absolutely amazing is that?! We are SO proud to be part of such an incredible event!
It is officially all hands on deck 🙌 — we'll be storing 126 loaves of bread, so there won't even be room to make ourselves a cup of tea! ☕😂

We can't wait to fuel all those incredible walkers — watch this space! 👀

What a day! 😅 A huge thank you to everyone who was patient with their deliveries this evening — it really means the world to us.

Unfortunately our phone lines went down, which meant we couldn't get in touch to give you a heads up about delays. On top of that, our drivers were battling:

🚧 Roadworks everywhere
🚦 A dozen temporary traffic lights
🚨 Accidents causing holdups across the roads

It's been quite the obstacle course out there tonight! Please bear in mind that we're not in town — we're out on Walney — so journey times can really stack up when the roads are against us.
