For Any Occasion

🎄 THEY'RE OUT! 🎄
The Christmas cards have officially made it onto the shop floor.
Are they beautifully displayed? No.
Do I know where everything is? Also no. 😂
Are there lots to choose from? YES!
At some point, I apparently decided it would be a brilliant idea to completely redesign the shop, change everything around, go on holiday AND have Christmas rapidly approaching at the same time.
So, a little favour please...
If I EVER announce that I'm going to redesign the entire shop again just before Christmas while also planning a month-long holiday...
TELL ME NO.
Take the paintbrush off me.
Hide the screwdriver.
Stage an intervention if necessary. 😂
For now, though, the Christmas cards are OUT 🎅🎄
Come in, have a rummage and if you ask me where a particular one is...
your guess is currently as good as mine. 🤣

WE’RE BACK! 🎈✨
After a truly amazing month in Florida, For Any Occasion is back open as normal from Monday! 🎉
We’ve swapped sunshine ☀️ for Cumbrian weather, rollercoasters 🎢 for balloon pumps, and Mickey balloons for… well, our balloons. 🎈😂
Please be gentle with us while we work through the post-vacation blues and try to remember how normal life works again. 🤣
The shop will be open 10am–2pm, messages will be answered, balloons will be inflated and the magic-making will officially resume. ✨
And yes… after spending a month looking at balloons absolutely everywhere, I’m coming back with approximately 4,762 new ideas. Phil is thrilled. 😏😂
Can’t wait to see you all again! 💕🎈

Spreading joy, magic & smiles everywhere ✨
P.S. Florida… this isn’t goodbye. 😉🌴☀️

🍦 Things I didn't expect to be doing at work today... 😂🎈
Sitting on top of a container, above the ice cream menu, rearranging balloons while people are ordering underneath me.
Why?
Because I'd finished them, climbed down, looked back and decided...
Nope. They need moving into the middle. 🤦‍♀️😂
So back up I went.
Today's job was a really special one though, helping Cumbrian Cow Ice Cream get ready for their final weekend of scooping before a very well-earned retirement. ❤️🍦
We absolutely love this place and, like so many people locally, we're really going to miss it.
Wishing the whole Cumbrian Cow team the most wonderful final weekend. ❤️
And if you're thinking about squeezing in one last visit...
GET THERE QUICK!
Grab yourself one last scoop. Or two. 🍦🍦

🌴 WE'RE OFF TO FLORIDA! 🎢☀️
After four years since our last proper holiday, we're finally hanging up the balloon pumps and heading off for some much-needed family time in Florida! 🇺🇸❤️
The shop is now closed and we'll reopen on 5th October.
But because apparently we don't know how holidays work... 😂
🎈 All deliveries booked for this weekend are going ahead as planned.
Yes, we really are delivering balloons right up until the taxi arrives! 🚕😂
While we're away, you can still:
💬 Book or enquire through Messenger — replies might be a little slower than usual because we have rollercoasters to conquer. 🎢
🛒 Place orders through our website as normal.
And if our holiday happens to clash with your celebration, don't panic! Our lovely friends at Gasbagz Balloons will hopefully be able to help while we're away. ❤️🎈
Thank you, as always, for keeping us ridiculously busy and allowing our little family business to do what we do.
Now... FLORIDA, HERE WE COME! 🌴☀️🎢
We'll see you in October!
Team FAO ❤️

🎓✨ A HUGE congratulations to everyone receiving their GCSE results today! ✨🎓
Whatever is written on that piece of paper, today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of a brand-new adventure. 💛
Be proud of how far you’ve come, celebrate everything you’ve achieved and remember — there are so many exciting paths ahead of you.
We’ve had the absolute pleasure of helping a few local schools celebrate their students this year, and it’s always pretty special getting to add a little balloon magic to such a big moment. 🎈✨
So from all of us at For Any Occasion…
🥳 CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2026! 🥳
Go celebrate — you’ve earned it! 🎓🎈✨

✨ Talia & Andrew ✨

Oh, this wedding… 🤍

A few weeks ago we had the absolute pleasure of helping bring Talia & Andrew’s wedding ideas to life — and there were SO many gorgeous little details involved.

From the moment guests arrived, everything was designed to feel like *them*.

🌿 A bespoke welcome sign
🌍 Their beautiful Where in the World seating plan
🥂 Personalised glass decals
🍾 Destination bottle labels
🍬 Sweet jar stickers
🎶 A First Dance Sweepstake
😂 Guest Who?
📎 And even a little game of Clip & Run!

What started with one idea grew into a complete collection of personalised details, all designed to work together with the soft blush, neutral and gold styling of their day.

And the best bit?

When we showed Talia the finished pieces before the wedding, there were actual tears. 🥹❤️

That’s the bit we live for.

Not just making something pretty, but creating those little touches that make a celebration feel completely and utterly yours.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hainey. Thank you for trusting us with such a special day. 🤍✨

🌈 Some designs never lose their magic... ✨
It's been a little while since we've created one of our duplet square pack rainbows, and I'd forgotten just how much fun they are to build! 💕
This one was created for a very special baby shower, celebrating a much-loved little miracle who is already surrounded by so much love. 💖
Paired with a personalised welcome sign, it made the perfect backdrop to welcome family and friends and celebrate such an exciting new chapter.
Congratulations to the lovely family – we can't wait to meet your little rainbow. 🌈👶
