🎶 VALJEAN'S SOLILOQUY - LES MISERABLES 🎶

For a long time, I've fantasised about how incredible it would be take part in a production of Les Mis and even more so to take on the role of Jean Valjean, arguably one of the most iconic and challenging musical roles of all time.

I'd like to think I've worked hard on my vocals and range over the years and I have loved giving this powerful and intense number a go! Let me know your thoughts below, it really does mean a lot to hear what you think ❤️

🎶 HER VOICE - DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID 🎶

Last week I had the privilege of watching Barnstaple Young Generation perform Disney's The Little Mermaid and I was blown away by the talent of show! As founder of Aspire Performing Arts and a teacher, I am always in awe of the tenacity and determination of young people and these guys had it in spades! My youngest brother had one of the main roles and has continued to go from strength to strength as a performer. I am very proud of him.

The song I'm performing today comes from the show and was performed by Prince Eric who happened to be one of my Drama students from many years ago who I have seen develop and thrive as a performer over time. I was so proud of how far they'd come and I only hope I can do this song justice (although I know you perform it miles better than me!)

It is always an absolute pleasure to perform for the residents of Tyspane Care Home - Barchester Healthcare and today was no exception! 🎶

A beautiful day for a concert, we all had a wonderful time. From Sunset Boulevard to Shrek the Musical, Madness to Honk! and South Pacific to Wicked, no Musical stone was left unturned! 🎤
