Set within its own private estate of 95 acres, with 2 acres of beautiful formal gardens, woodlands, lakes and streams to explore Westcott Barton is a stunning tranquil venue for every occasion. Holding our own events and retreats from live Music in the gardens, workshops in photography capturing the beauty of the landscape on camera, or on canvass with an art course to Yoga and meditation retreats

. The possibilities of Westcott Barton as a venue are endless. For events, functions and parties every event held here will be truly spectacular, whether in the barn or the orangery or even the gardens your event at Westcott Barton is designed by you. Our accommodation is also available for holiday lets. The Westcott Barton Farmhouse is a Grade II listed Devon longhouse full of character and charm which, with equally as endearing ancillary accommodation across a cobblestone court yard can sleep up to 22 people there is also the cottage which is perfect for smaller holiday bookings sleeping from 2 - 6 people. Westcott Barton....

The estate has been here since Saxon times. The Grade II listed longhouse at its heart carries the weight of nine centuries. The 95 acres of valley, woodland and garden haven't changed dramatically since the Chichester family walked them in the 17th century.

We're now taking bookings for 2027 — and with limited exclusive-use dates available, the earlier you get in touch, the more choice you'll have.

Westcott Barton is a beautiful Grade II listed Devon longhouse, surrounded by 95 acres of peaceful countryside that has been shaped by generations of farming and cared for over many years.
