Well where has that year and half gone?!!
A huge congratulations to Josh and Heather - Mr & Mrs Avery who had their big day today. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with you both to bring you your day just the way you wanted it. Can even forgive for having to iron the aisle runner (WHAT?!!)

Gentle reminder/hire info

When hiring chair covers/sashes can you please be accurate with the amount required. Chair covers and sashes are laundered/ironed as per the amount on the booking. A few extra chair covers are always brought to allow for any wear and tear but sashes are brought to order. Have had a couple of instances over the past year alone where a substantial amount more were required. This adds up over a period of time and is similar to you working extra hours and not getting paid. Up to now they have been fitted as to not spoil the aesthetic of a room but in future extra chairs will be left undressed. There is always time to adjust the numbers on the run up to the big day. Please no longer assume it is also our responsibility to do extra work free of charge. Also on that note unless organised prior it isn’t our job to do anything apart from solely what has been hired from us to provide (unless arranged beforehand) these ‘extra’ jobs should be included with the venue hire/venue staff. During busy wedding periods our heads are full of all the things we need to prep/put into place to ensure we deliver the best service possible. The rule of thumb is if it isn’t on our booking form/hired from us we aren’t responsible for it.
