A gigantic thank you to everyone…such a lovely family afternoon and a great turn out. The cakes for our ‘Bake a Cake’ competition were scrumdidleumptious, our arts and crafts tables went down a storm & Rabbit Peter & his friend were just the ticket.

Sarah's Personalised Sensations offered the most gorgeous gifts at very reasonable prices and very popular. Fundraising went really well and you were all very generous! All the buns that people baked & donated literally sold line hot cakes! Plus the kind bakers who entered their cakes into the competition very kindly donated their cakes to our fundraising.

Lastly, a very big thank you to all our volunteers who roll their sleeves up and make village events happen. You are all amazing. THANK YOU EVERYONE & A VERY HAPPY EASTER 💖💖💖

A big thank you to Gail for judging our Cake Competition and to everyone who entered. Gail loved all the cakes and said it was very hard to choose. 1st Place went to a mystery baker who was too shy to reveal their name and 2nd & 3rd Places both went to Lyndsey Pateman. Well done to all our entries your cakes were all absolutely beautiful 🫶🏼🍰🫶🏼🍰🫶🏼🍰🫶🏼

It’s nearly Easter & the kids will be breaking up from school very soon. Great Houghton Youth Group have organised some free holiday activities for them & we have our Easter Fun Session on Saturday 4th April 12pm - 2pm.
We’re very short on Tombola prizes, so if you have new unused gifts you can donate to us, we’d be most grateful. Bun & cupcake donations would also be much appreciated for our cake stall. Thank you in advance 💖💖💖
