It’s August and that means one thing - we’re in Peak Wedding Season! It’s estimated that there will be over 30,000 ceremonies taking place in the UK this month. Here at Black Poppy, we are certainly in full wedding mode and are booked up now until September. We do keep a few emergency slots free, so do feel free to reach out if you have any last minute stationery needs for your big day - we will do our best to help 🩷

Our Story

I’m Catherine, married mum to three boys and one black cat. The hubby is Martyn, the boys are Joshua, Alfie and Freddie. The black cat is Poppy. She won in the search for a business name! Black Poppy Designs was born back in February 2013. I’d made a few cards for family and friends, started to sell a few and found myself getting more and more requests. Then I got my first wedding stationery order and I’ve never looked back. Black Poppy has grown from strength to strength.

Black Poppy is now a growing small business based in Yorkshire. I design and create bespoke wedding stationery designs, using high quality materials. Nothing is too much trouble, so if you have an idea in mind, pop over to the page for a chat!
