Wombwell Operatic Society

Wombwell Operatic Society An amateur theatre company based in Wombwell on the outskirts of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We produce three main shows per year including a family pantomime.

Most of our shows features local youngsters up to the age of sixteen. We hold rehearsals normally on a Wednesday evening from 7.30pm- 10.00pm and welcome anybody who has an interest in appearing on stage, building sets, rigging and operating lighting and everything in between. Depending on the show schedule, there will be additional rehearsals - usually on a Monday and Sunday, especially near to t

he show date. No matter what your interest, everyone of any age is welcome to come along and get involved.
