💜 SEPTEMBER IS A BUSY ONE FOR ULTIMATE FUN HIRE! 💚

We’ve got three very different charity events coming up this month, and we’re proud to be playing a small part in each of them. ❤️

🏃 12TH SEPTEMBER — BORN SURVIVOR

30+ brave souls are taking on the 12km Born Survivor assault course! 💪

The team are closely linked with our friends at Amc FC Newlodge Athersley and Athersley rec girls, and they’re taking on this challenge to raise money for Lindhurst Lodge Care Home and the Alzheimer’s Society.

We’ll be there with the cameras ready, so expect plenty of muddy, painful and hopefully smiling action shots! 📷😂

💜 A GATHERING OF REMEMBRANCE

We’ll also be attending A Gathering of Remembrance with Sarah Bedford, held in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Broad Close Farm.

This special event gives people the opportunity to come together, remember loved ones lost through su***de and share a moment of reflection in a supportive setting. 💜

We’ll be providing face painting for the children, helping families who want to attend with little ones feel able to come along and take part too. 🎨💜

☕ MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING

And finally, we’re heading to New Lodge Working Mens Club for their Macmillan Coffee Morning! 💚

There’ll be games, quizzes, bingo, cake and plenty of tea and coffee — all while raising money for a fantastic cause. ☕🍰

We’ll be bringing along our soft play area, so if you’ve got little ones, you can still come along, enjoy the morning and support Macmillan without worrying about keeping them entertained. 💚

Three events. Three fantastic causes. One very busy September! 🙌

We absolutely love being able to support events like these and, wherever possible, help make them accessible for families too.

🌧️ A LITTLE WEATHER WARNING FOR FUTURE BOOKINGS 🌧️

Unfortunately, this weekend we had several outdoor bookings affected by the rain, meaning we had no choice but to cancel them.

We completely understand how disappointing this is for our customers — nobody wants to have to cancel a party or event they’ve been looking forward to. ❤️

It’s also a difficult situation for us as a small business. We put time into preparing, planning and keeping those dates available, so when the weather means a booking can’t safely go ahead, it’s understandably disappointing for everyone involved.

Unfortunately, the weather is something none of us can control, and safety has to come first. ☔️

So, if you’re considering hiring a bouncy castle or other outdoor entertainment over the coming weeks, please do think carefully about your venue.

🌦️ With the weather becoming more unpredictable, choosing an indoor venue is the best way to avoid disappointment and gives you peace of mind that your booking can still go ahead whatever the weather decides to do!

We have always offered indoor bookings and can work with suitable venues such as community centres, village halls, church halls and other indoor spaces. 🏰🎉

We really don’t want anyone to have their special day disrupted by the weather, so if you have the option to book indoors, we highly recommend it. ❤️

🌧️ DON’T LET THE BRITISH WEATHER SPOIL YOUR PLANS! 🌧️

As we head towards the more unpredictable weather, I just wanted to remind everyone that indoor bookings are always available with Ultimate Fun Hire 🥳

Unfortunately, the weather can sometimes mean that outdoor bookings have to be cancelled or changed at short notice. This weekend alone, I have several outdoor bookings that are unfortunately looking like they may be affected by the rain, including a face painting setup. 💔

I hate having to disappoint customers after they’ve been looking forward to their event, but unfortunately our equipment simply can’t be used safely in wet weather.

So, if you’re planning a party or event over the coming weeks and you have the option of using an indoor venue, I’d definitely recommend booking indoors to avoid disappointment! ❤️

💜 A Gathering of Remembrance 💜

I’m really pleased to be attending A Gathering of Remembrance at Broad Close Farm on Thursday 17th September, where I’ll be there providing face painting for children.

This is a really meaningful evening, bringing families and loved ones together to remember those lost through su***de, share memories and offer a space for reflection, connection and hope 🕊️💜

For families attending with children, I’ll be there to add a little bit of colour and fun to their evening with face painting, while everyone comes together for this important event.

As some of my followers will know, Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that is very close to my heart, not only for personal reasons but also because of the support and services they have provided to people close to me and my family.

That’s why I’m really pleased to be joining New Lodge Working Mens Club - Official on Friday 25th September, 10am–1pm for their Macmillan Coffee Morning.

Why not come along and join us? There’ll be a tombola, raffle, quiz and bingo, with lots of opportunities to have some fun while helping raise money for such an amazing cause. ☕💚

Worried you can’t attend because you have young children? We’ve got you covered! 😊

We’ll be setting up our soft play area for the little ones, giving them somewhere safe and fun to play while you enjoy the morning and get involved in supporting Macmillan.
