Funny Way to Be Comedy brings new, exciting, top comedians to the Teesdale area in the North East of England! Based in Barnard Castle (at The Witham venue) the club has, for several years, brought some of the UK's best to the small rural town. Acts have included John Bishop, Russell Howard, Mark Watson, Jason Cook, Chris Ramsey, Jack Dee, Mark Steel, Bill Bailey, Phil Cool, Omid Djalili and many more.

A lovely show this evening with Mrs Smith. We usually post a photo of our performers but not tonight. We are very happpy to keep up the tradition of the anonymity of Mrs Smith who is highly supportive of children and her colleagues in the education world. The show is highly relatable to teachers, anyone who works in a the education industry, parents and adults who are glad they didn't become a teacher!
