That’s a wrap Barmouth fest 2025 🎬

This year was a nightmare for us to organise, we had so many many hoops to jump through and so many unreasonable requests it really made it hard work and not very enjoyable.
I think everyone bar 1 is of the same opinion that the fence is unnecessary it ruined it.
It’s very frustrating when we never had trouble in the past, but we had to run it this way this year. BIG changes next year we’ve learnt a lot.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side either this year and that really makes or breaks events, and our collection buckets didn’t do well either 🙈

Well that was Another awesome Day despite the afternoon drizzle. Thank you all again for such an amazing team effort both on and off the Water. So many people behind the scenes that help make these communities days so special.

Unfortunately the HM Coastguard Barmouth went unchallenged in the Tug of War due to incoming rain so fortunately for them they remain undefeated as Whispers are the Barmouth RNLI Team had it in the Bag 👀

Thank you again everyone for making it another awesome day though.

Here is this years carnival route and info
The only thing we forgot to mention is that all floats that have people sat on a trailer or in a boot of a car MUST have their own marshalls either side of the floats wearing Hi Viz Tabards

**🚣🚣🏽 Water Fest Raft Race 🚣🏽🚣‍♀️“

Our all female crew “The Salty Swallows” now have some local competition.

News is “The Dirty Oars” from Richmond Round House and Ice Cream Parlour have found a team.

“Off Your Head” Party Bus will also be taking to the sea for their 1st time in their all new Party Boat.

Barmouth Fest isn't over yet!! The forecast is good and we are getting ready for the Carnival on Saturday and the Water Fest on Sunday. So get your costumes ready and your buckets and spades.
