The MYC Raft Race is as much fun for the spectators as it is the Rafters, with something to keep everyone entertained on the shore where you can get your Water pistols, Crab lines, Bait, Buckets, Coffee, Cake , ice-cream, Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner and let’s not forget a Beer or even a WIne.

So here’s your little guide on where to watch it from.

* Starts at The Bath House Beach
* Stays close to the Harbour Wall past the Dolphin Feature and opposite The Lobster Pot
* Hugs the wall heading past Glen our local Fisherman’s Pots and opposite Davy Jones Locker
* It then Runs adjacent to the Railway opposite Sup and Sea shop and The Last Inn, to the 1/2 way turning point in view of Barmouth Bridge
* Return leg involves rowing towards Fudgeridoo, Isis pizzeria and Ted’s takeaway where each Crew must retrieve an item from the sea.
* Returning along the same route and back at the Beach where the Raft Race ends with an easy sprint to the finish line.

Don’t forget it’s an early start where we have over 100 jetskis arriving at 11am and the Crab comp for the kids also starting at 11am 🦀🦀

2 more sleeps until The Water Fest welcomes back “Off your Head” Party bus.

They along with many others have been with us throughout the Barmouth/ Bermo Fest Journey and we’re looking forwards to sharing another awesome day with them and everyone else down by the Harbour on Saturday.

Rumour has it the Sun will be coming out to play as well 👀 🤞☀️😀

Barmouth Water Fest (Sat 20th June)

11am - ”RIDEOUT 26”

Barmouth’s Lifeboat “Ella Larsen” and the Water Fest will be welcoming over 100 Jet skis into the Harbour who are all on a safely organised journey across the Bay. An annual independent event with their mission being to promote Responsible Watercraft use on the sea while Raising Money for Charity.

🚣 Barmouth Harbour Fest/ Raft Race 🚣‍♂️

Well after another awesome Carnival, we go again this Saturday 20th June with our 3rd and final push this year. Please come and support the event with plenty of fun for all the Fam to enjoy.

11am - 100 Jets ski’s “Rideout 26”

11am Crab fishing comp

Barmouth RNLI Shannon Class “Ella Larsen” and her Cox and crew will hopefully be in attendance and in full view from the Harbour

12.30pm THE RAFT RACE

2pm ish TUG of WAR

2pm onwards Sand Castle Comp

Party Bus and lots more all down by the Harbour and on the Sea

What an incredible day at Barmouth Carnival yesterday – without a doubt the best one so far!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, took part, and helped make the day such a fantastic success. It was wonderful to see so many amazing costumes, smiling faces, and the community coming together to celebrate.

A very special thank you goes to all of our volunteers. We simply couldn’t do it without your hard work, dedication, and support. From planning and organising to helping everything run smoothly on the day, you are the heart of the carnival.

Thank you to everyone who entered, supported, and cheered along the route. The atmosphere was incredible, and it’s what makes Barmouth Carnival so special.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year. See you in 2027!

Good Morning

The black patch car park is now closed for the Carnival. Only coaches can park there.
There are still a few cars left. If you are parked there please move your car this morning to make space for the Carnival.
We have full permission for the use of the car park from last night and through today.
Guest house owners could you pleaee check tjat none of your guests are parked there.
