Thursday – Thank You Banwell Singers

A huge thank you to Banwell Singers for another unforgettable evening of music at Banwell Village Hall 🎶💚

Last weekend's Around the World concert was a wonderful celebration of music, talent, and community spirit. The audience was taken on a musical journey across the globe, with a fantastic selection of songs beautifully performed by the choir.

Events like these remind us how fortunate we are to have such talented local groups bringing people together and creating special memories right here in our village.

Thank you to everyone involved, both on stage and behind the scenes, for making the evening such a success.

🏗️ Roof Replacement Progress Update 🏗️

Work continues on the ongoing maintenance and improvement programme at Banwell Village Hall 💚

The recently completed roof replacement has now been upgraded to the latest Warm Roof System, creating a continuous open drainage edge designed to improve water flow and eliminate the historic blockage issues which caused previous damage. Plus upgraded insulation compliant to the lastest standards required.

As many of you will have seen from the works taking place, the section replaced was Roof 1, completed at a cost of £10,760.40 and guaranteed for 20 years 🙌

Whilst this is a major step forward, there are still four further roofs that will require replacement in the coming years as part of our long-term improvement plans.

Thank you for your continued support as we work to protect and improve this important community building 🌿

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience while these important improvements are completed 💚

The works will include:
✨ New ceiling
💡 New lighting
🧱 Full replastering of all walls

Whilst this won’t complete the entire refurbishment project for the area, we currently do not foresee the need for any further closure dates.
