We all hope you had a lovely Christmas.
All the team are finally able to hang their scissors up and take a very well deserved rest at home with their families.
We can’t thank you, our wonderful customers enough for your support through out the year and over this festive period. Thank you for all your warm wishes, messages, cards and home baked cakes, you really do spoil us and we love it.
We wish you all a very peaceful Christmas and we’ll see you on the other side when we open again on Saturday 30th Dec and Sunday 31st

The March birth flowers are daffodils and jonquils. As March is the month where spring officially begins it makes sense that the daffodil is the primary birth month flower for March. These little buds of sunshine are such happy flowers that they're seen as a sign of good luck and celebrated in Wales as the national flower.

Daffodils have been around in the UK since the 17th century. Even Shakespeare was a big fan of them! And the wild blooms would be sold in the streets of London by flower girls. While they are most commonly yellow, you can also find white and orange daffodils too.

Symbolising rebirth, luck, vanity and prosperity we see the people who are born in March to be happy, cheerful and optimistic who can easily brighten someone's day.

Violets hold a rich history and many different symbolic meanings. According to a myth, St. Valentine crushed violet flowers to make ink and write notes to his friends during his banishment. A violet flower was also used to make the love potion in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Ancient Greeks also use violet flowers in love potions. Because of such, violets symbolize romance, fertility, and love. The sweet-scented violets also represent truth, loyalty, modesty, spiritual wisdom, and humility.

Purple violets symbolize faithful love, while white violets signify innocence, candor, and simplicity.
