Hire includes use of the cob house, gardens and access to our alpacas. Why not come and stay in our beautiful self contained overnight accommodation with it's own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette? e a reflexology for feet or face, meditation and time to unwind in our beautiful surroundings. The alpacas are gentle creatures and so calming to be around. Switch off and unwind in the beauty of nature.

Hi everyone,

We are looking for any of you talented local crafters who can run a Christmas workshop for us. (Possibly a bit late in getting organised this year!)

We already have a wreath making workshop and candle making so not looking for these.

You will need to be competent at teaching the craft and have your own public liability insurance.

We have a lovely space to work in and provide all the refreshments etc and help advertise the workshop.

The workshop will be held on a Saturday or Sunday.

If you think this is you please get in touch or feel free to tag friends who might be interested.

🧡This is what looking after our mental health looks like🧡

We haven't been able to get out and about much this summer. Work has been busy (which we have loved!) and the drought/heat has made animal care more time consuming.

Both of us are fully aware with our mindfulness practice that exercise, a change of scenery and being able to switch off are essential to keeping us both well.

Here we are last weekend on the river at Thetford paddle boarding.

Time to slow down, the gentle splashes of the water, duck watching and a bit of a giggle too.

5. Where did you get your soap from? (OK I can answer this. After we saw on Dragons Den we bought some. Better for the planet as no more plastic soap bottles and everyone says how much they love the soap. Obviously a good purchase if everyone asks 🤣

Another fun/slightly chaotic alpaca experience this morning 😁

Returning visitors from last year told us they can definitely see Misty and Luna are becoming more confident.

Always fun but as usual the walking bit is haphazard. The alpacas are very stop start and only some of them will go through the slalom but I am hoping their non compliance is part of the charm 🤣

Treats were eaten, laughs were had and memories made 🧡

Just a photo of Pepè for his adoring fans.

Not sure quite why he has such a following when he is so lazy and grumpy??

Here he is expecting to be hand fed while he sits on the ground and turns his back on people 🤣

We shall be having words with him about his attitude!!

He is also not keen on any of the other alpacas apart from his mum and is fussy with treats if they are not up to the expected standard.

We have just a couple of places left for our alpaca yoga on Sat morning starting at 10am.

The weather is set to be cooler, the vibe is fun and relaxed, and you can't not smile around the alpacas.

Tea and cake finishes the morning and all this for just £25pp.

I am not going to lie and say it has been easy looking after the alpacas this summer.

When this photo was taken 5 weeks ago we still had grass. Now they have no natural grass left to graze, and these continual high temperatures are testing for animals and people alike.

Our daily alpaca care has gone from 2 times a day around half an hour, to around 6 times a day and more work.

Fire is my biggest worry and there have been several in our local area in the last 2 weeks.

What I will say though is that we are managing, and they are doing ok bless them.

We are buying in hay, redi grass and speedi beet to fill them up. They have shade on the front field which we move them onto every morning, and we have rotated which paddock they are in every few days just so we could make the most of what grass was left.

They are loving all the attention and treats from visitors and seem quite happy.

Rain is forecast next week....🤞🦙
