Founder & Director - Chantelle

Last year, I was planning my little girl’s birthday party and I struggled to find the kind of character entertainment I was looking for. That’s when the idea for The Character Co. was born! ⭐️

I wanted to create something different. Character entertainment that felt truly special, with beautifully crafted costumes, professional performers and experiences that children would remember. After meticulously sourcing high quality costumes and having them handmade and shipped over all the way from South America, The Character Co. officially launched in November 2025 ✨

Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of working for many parents and event organisers who have told us they were looking for exactly the same thing: high-quality costumes, talented performers and character experiences that feel authentic. And the very best part? Bringing that excitement, wonder and joy to children and families all across Northern Ireland!

From the very beginning, I also wanted The Character Co. to have a purpose beyond parties. Giving back has always been at the heart of what we do. Since day one, we have provided free visits to nursing homes, disability care homes and hospitals, something we especially love to do during the festive season 🎄🎁⛄️

Each year, we also choose a charity partner to support through fundraising, volunteering at community events and using our platform to help raise awareness for their incredible work 💕

And none of this would be possible without our amazing team! They share my passion and vision for creating something truly unique and magical and not only are they fantastic performers, but they understand children - how to engage with them, make them laugh and create an experience that feels genuinely memorable 🤩

I absolutely love what I do! From creating new ideas and bringing characters to life, to watching a child’s face light up when their favourite character walks through the door - it’s the excitement, connection and magic they feel that makes it all worthwhile.

And that little girl whose birthday party started it all? She’s still one of my biggest inspirations… 💖
