Venue visits like this remind us that the best events happen in places that give people a reason to switch off from the everyday and connect with each other.

Our recent visit to Crafted at Powdermills showed exactly why it's such a strong option for corporate retreats, leadership offsites and team gatherings.

Set within 78 acres of ancient woodland in East Sussex, Crafted combines inspiring event spaces with thoughtfully designed rooms, suites, cottages and a lake house. The venue offers a unique mix of contemporary comfort and character, with big beds, well-lit workspaces, handcrafted details and locally sourced artwork throughout.

What really stood out was how seamlessly accommodation, wellbeing and events come together. Alongside flexible event spaces, guests can enjoy lake swims, yoga, sauna rituals, breathwork sessions, woodland trails and a programme of wellness experiences designed to help people reset and reconnect.

The food offering is equally impressive, with a seasonally driven restaurant supplied by regenerative growing plots on the estate, creating a genuine connection between the venue and its surroundings.

And that’s a wrap on another epic event at Silverstone 🏁

It takes a brilliant team and great clients to pull off experiences like this, and we were lucky to have both for our track day experiences hosted by Valvoline Global EMEA.

Earlier this year, we were thrilled to win this work for Valvoline one of the world’s leading names in automotive and industrial solutions, and this incentive programme was designed to reward and inspire.

Guests enjoyed a hosted dinner and overnight stay at Whittlebury Park before heading to the iconic Silverstone for an unforgettable driving experience. And with Valvoline as the official lubricant partner of the Aston Martin F1 Team, the group also got exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the Aston Martin F1® Team facilities - definitely a highlight of the trip.

From logistics and production to staffing and delegate comms, our team handled every detail, and the feedback has been fantastic. Huge thanks to everyone involved.

We loved the showcase at Corner Corner in Canada Water earlier this month, and it’s safe to say we left impressed.

Set on the waterfront, this multi-use venue is a bold new addition to London’s event scene. A collaboration between Broadwick Live and KERB it brings together food, culture and community under one roof, creating a destination that feels both dynamic and thoughtfully designed.

The expansive Event Hall offers an industrial backdrop with high ceilings making it ideal for everything from conferences and exhibitions to brand activations and immersive experiences. The flexible layout allows for seamless transitions and endless creative possibilities.

A standout feature? London’s largest indoor vertical farm - a brilliant nod to sustainability and innovation that sets the venue apart. And a special mention to Vibration Production whose audio-visuals elevated the entire experience.

A versatile, forward-thinking space designed to inspire connection and creativity, Corner Corner is definitely one to watch.

Earlier this month we were proud to support Volvo Car UK with the UK media launch of the new Volvo ES90, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Cotswolds.

At The Event Business, our approach centres on designing and delivering experiences that truly reflect a brand - and for the Volvo ES90 that meant creating something calm, confident and quietly premium from the ground up.

From the beautifully curated dinner to the bespoke drive routes, every detail was intentionally designed and seamlessly delivered to give journalists and creators the time and space to genuinely connect with the car.

It’s this combination of strategic event design and meticulous delivery that enables moments to resonate - and the level of engagement throughout the event reinforced just how powerful that can be.

Our team recently headed out to Andorra to meet with suppliers, and one meeting wasn’t exactly your standard boardroom setting. Think thermals, snowshoes, mountain trails, and breathtaking views!

We love being first through the doors ✨

A recent site visit took us to The Newman in Fitzrovia – a brand-new Art Deco-inspired hotel already making a serious impression. With just 81 rooms, it feels considered and characterful, drawing on hyperlocal personalities to create a real sense of place.

From the moment we arrived, the tone was set by effortlessly warm service (yes, we were offered coffee while waiting – a small touch that so many hotels still miss 👀).

Standouts? Plenty:
– A buzzing brasserie and The Gambit Bar: a seriously slick cocktail space complete with DJ decks, a private entrance, and a stage for live moments
– Photography inspired by local personalities, adding depth and character throughout
– A stunning spa featuring a glowing Himalayan salt room
– A vast penthouse with a rooftop sauna and cold plunge

For events, it ticks all the right boxes:
– The Talland & Little Talland: beautifully designed meeting spaces with wood panelling, adaptable lighting, and concealed AV – perfect for boardroom sessions or elevated private dining.

It’s always a privilege to experience properties at this early stage – even more so when they’re this thoughtfully executed. If you’re looking for somewhere fresh, design-led, and event-ready in central London… this one’s firmly on our radar.

The team have been busy with site visits and event delivery across the UK - from the iconic Silverstone Race Circuit, to Factory International in Manchester, and the electric atmosphere of the Cheltenham Festival.

It’s been a fantastic few days on the road, collaborating closely with clients, solving challenges onsite, and bringing ideas to life in some of the country’s most exciting venues.

Thank you to the micebook team for bringing the industry together at micebook EXPO 2026.

Hosted at Convene Sancroft, this year’s theme 'Designed to Connect' truly lived up to its name. The event created real space for meaningful conversations and genuine connections - through 1-to-1 meetings, live facilitation, and hands-on workshops.

As always, micebook events are warm, fun, insightful and brilliantly collaborative.

Favourite moments included:
- Exploring the power of collaboration in Mykel Dixon’s brilliant keynote: ‘From Pitch to Partnership’
- Cheering on a spontaneous paper-scissors-stone tournament
- Watching a very brave audience member jump into an improvised piano duet
- Meeting new venue partners and reconnecting with familiar faces
- A workshop reimagining event design through the lens of connection - not content blocks or logistics.

It was a great day and a brilliant reminder of what happens when connection comes first.

Fleet & Mobility Live is the UK’s largest event for fleet decision‑makers and industry influencers, and we were delighted to support Volvo Car UK with a dynamic, high‑impact show stand.

From initial concept through to on‑site delivery, we brought the Volvo vision to life with a premium space designed to spark conversation around the future of electric fleets and business mobility. Guests were invited to explore the Volvo EX30 Cross Country and all‑new Volvo ES90, connect with Volvo’s expert team, and take a moment to unwind with authentic Swedish Fika.

A brilliant example of how thoughtful design and seamless ex*****on can create meaningful brand experiences.
