We understand the road has been closed longer than initially planned and trust me i understand the frustration but what's even more frustrating is preparing food for no shows! Please if you are ordering make sure you can actually come to collect it! There are several different diversion routes, even if you are not familiar with the area call us back and we can give you directions, if you find it virtually impossible to get here at least have the decency to call us back and let us know!!! 8 breakfast baps we have thrown out in the last 2 days...our business has already been affected by the ongoing roadworks without preparing food and throwing it in the bin!

Incase of any confusion as it hasn't been put out very clearly the Moorfields road is only shut ONE direction not both! Road still in operation on way down towards Ballymena, our layby and business is still very much accessible and we are still open for business as usual 😊

As it stands we still plan to open this incoming week! Not ideal for us at all but we will just need to play it by ear! What i have been told is the road heading towards ballymena is still open and operating but the road up heading larne direction is closed! Technically that means we are still accessible whilst travelling towards ballymena! We will update if there is any changes to opening this week 🥲

I have been advised by the Department for Infrastructure that resurfacing works will be taking place on Moorfields Road (A0036), Ballymena, resulting in a temporary one‑way closure.

📍 Location: Larne Road Roundabout to Tully Road Junction
📅 Dates: Tuesday 5 May to Friday 29 May 2026
🚗 Impact: Through traffic restricted (one‑way closure)
⏳ Anticipated delays: Approximately 15–30 minutes
