Glorious sunshine and the stunning location of Kilmore Country House overlooking Glenariff Glenn made a perfect backdrop for Saturday's wedding. The cake was served straight after the outdoor ceremony and then 200 vanilla and raspberry, salted caramel, and chocolate cupcakes each decorated with blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and cherries were served later to the evening guests. My only regret I didn't think to photograph the cupcakes before they were whisked away to the chiller!

Important Announcement - I regret to announce that I am winding down my business due to disc problems in my spine. I have had to cancel all 4 tier fully iced wedding cakes however I will fulfil smaller semi naked and ganache cakes. If any bride is concerned and wishes to cancel their order then I will of

Rich purple hues on yesterday's wedding cake at the Leighinmohr House Hotel in Ballymena. The top tier was coffee with Bailey's buttercream, the middle vanilla with raspberry jam, and the bottom tier lemon sponge with lemon curd and lemon buttercream all covered with white chocolate ganache. I've included a photo showing the back of the cake to show what the bride and groom would have seen as the cake was cut.

A winter wedding celebration at The Ivory Pavilion with tiers of lemon sponge, chocolate raspberry ruffle and rich fruit cake all coated with white chocolate ganache. Winter berries and sprigs of fresh rosemary were sprayed with edible lustre to give a frosted sheen.

Every year has one particularly memorable 'crazy week' and for me it was the past one with 6 weddings in 7 days. I didn't take photos of them all but I thought you might like to see a 2-tier semi-naked with cupcake combo, and a 3-tier white chocolate ganache cake with a Cadbury Flake bark on the middle tier for something different!
