Laurls Flowers Florist for all occasions We are a family run business and have been running for 7 years now. At present we run it from home in our custom made work shop.

iIstarted floristry when I first left school, and worked for a local business where i was asked to help out especially at busy times of the year. A few years later I decided to leave to pursue other interested and started a family. As years went by family and close friends asked for different tributes or gifts which I done and decided that's where my heart was so with the help of my parents, husba

nd and my children I started laurLs flowers. We came up with the name as a play on words, Laura being my name and the laurel tree, and the last 2 digits are my initials!! We pride ourselves on the little details as you can see from some of my pictures and really enjoy a challenge as you can also see ( the chocolate orange!!!) we do not let any tribute, arrangement or wedding flowers to leave our premises unless they are of a high standard that I would be happy to receive myself. Abi was the most honest, caring, funny, gorgeous, brave and inspirational person you could ever meet. Throughout her illness she never complained and always had a smile and a wave whenever we saw her.

We would like to say a massive thank you to all our members, what a fantastic bunch you are and we are so proud of you all. We have had some great comments & pictures over these last few weeks, and we would like this to continue. We’ve had tears of sadness when we have lost loved ones, but also tears of joy at the good work and lives saved by our heroes!

We have been arranging entertainment for all Key Workers, not only in the UK, but all over the world, so that you all have somewhere to come when; you are finding the fight difficult, when you need support, when you want to share your stories, when you need an ear to listen, virtual shoulder to cry on or because it’s your day off. We encourage you to come and spend your time with people that truly appreciate all that you and your families are doing in this tremendously difficult time.

Tomorrow, 28th April 2020, at 11am, the UK will be observing a minute’s silence to remember all those that have lost their lives to Covid-19 whilst working hard to ensure we have a life to live. Over 100 valued, loved, adored and highly respected key workers have lost their lives, doctors, nurses, transport workers, midwives, paramedics, the list is endless.

Thank Our Keyworkers will be observing the minute’s silence in a live feed on the page and group, which Barrington has agreed to host for us and sing a song after. We would ask that ALL members refrain from commenting during this minute. Instead, we invite you to join Barrington at 10.50am tomorrow on his live feed.

Please spread the message about the minute’s silence with ALL your friends, family, colleagues, groups, etc. We welcome your videos and pictures of you giving your respect to our fallen heroes.
