Still not over last night ✨

A candlelit Valentine’s dinner, five beautiful courses by the wonderful ,perfectly paired wines and the most romantic atmosphere as past and present couples gathered in the Music Room.
Seeing this space filled with warmth, conversation of memories and unforgettable food is something we will remember for a long time.
How special it was to welcome back such lovely people.

We’d love this to be the beginning of something special, an intimate supper club series bringing people together over incredible dining experiences.

Last month we hosted an ‘Inspiration Viewing Day’ for couples booked this year and next, as well as those considering Balcombe Place.

It was a roaring success, and allowed all of our guests to see how the Drawing Room would look for the ceremony. The Music Room was dressed impeccably by and allowing all our visitors to consider table types, candle and lamp options, and even fruit!
The Dining Room was laid up for the perfect Friday night supper.

There was also a delicious spread from and brownies from our talented in house chef, Shrimpy.

All in all, a very successful day, and something we plan to do again!

Reflecting on a firm highlight of 2024.
Grace had the joy of working closely with this couple in planning their truly SENSATIONAL wedding.

A fairytale weekend all under the glow of candlelight, accompanied by sweet serenade. Sipping on everything from cocktails to champagne, tasting fine wines, indulging in Eton Mess, and all surrounded by breathtaking florals —this is what dreams are made of.

Would you like to book a slot for our Inspiration Viewing Day?

We are often asked during viewings with couples how it’s best for them to set up The Drawing Room and The Music Room for their weddings. The answer, of course, is ‘how ever you like!’ To help bring your vision to life for your perfect day, we are going to set up the house as though we are holding a wedding weekend. Picture a blank canvas ready for you to put your own personalised touch on. We will set up The Drawing Room as the ceremony room for 80 guests, The Music Room with long feasting tables and the Billiards Room with round tables, to help give you an idea of how you potentially might like it.

The wonderful will be providing seat pads, table linens, glassware and cutlery to showcase their different hire items. Nikki from will be showing off her amazing styling skills, she really is very talented!

Please email [email protected] to reserve a slot on the 15th February, 12pm - 4pm. Come and explore the house and grounds. Ask us any questions you might have about using the space in the receptions rooms to your taste. You can also venture upstairs to check out our stunning bedrooms.

What sets Balcombe Place apart?

For the entirety of your wedding weekend, the whole house is yours. Use it as however you want!

With access to the house from Friday afternoon to Sunday late morning, you and your chosen guests make the house your home. We have 14 beautifully renovated bedrooms available for up to 28 guests, each very unique. Match the room with the personality of the guests you’ve invited to stay!

Included in your stay are 4 house-meals, prepared on site by our in-house chef. How you want them and what you want is up to you. Our chef will work with you to create your dream bespoke weekend menu. Use the inviting guest kitchen for afternoon tea and our stunning dining room for an intimate dinner party the night before your wedding. A full English breakfast is always needed the morning after, helping to soothe sore heads and debrief the night before.

IT’S CHRISTMAS IN 35 DAYS!! Yippee!!

We have worked really hard on producing the perfect gift, for our couples, past, present and future. - and everyone inbetween!
What a wonderful reminder on Christmas Day, of a building that holds so many memories.
Our Balcombe Place Pine & Elderflower gin, uses the pine from our Christmas trees that we grow on the lawn - how amazing?!

We can also offer in the Balcombe Place bottle; Strawberry & Pink Peppercorn, Virunga Honey Rum and 0% Gin.
