August is here, which means the countdown to Chatsworth Country Fair is officially on . . . just a little over a month to go!

One of the highlights of the Derbyshire calendar is nearly here, with a fantastic day of arena displays, country pursuits, local food, shopping and entertainment waiting to be enjoyed.

Why not make a weekend of it?

One of the many joys of a weekend wedding or holiday at Heathy Lea is that there’s time to truly soak up everything this incredible corner of the Peak District has to offer.

So many of our couples and their guests take the opportunity to wander across the beautiful parkland and explore the breathtaking grounds of Chatsworth Estate. And when you’re surrounded by scenery like this, it’s easy to see why.

From spectacular architecture and world famous gardens to peaceful walking routes and unforgettable views, it’s all right on our doorstep. Whether it’s the day before the wedding, a relaxed morning afterwards, or simply a quiet moment away from the celebrations, it’s an experience that’s well worth making time for.
