Flowers for Claire 💛💗🧡
Claire has been more a less a permanent fixture in our shop for almost 20 years. A loyal customer and more importantly a wonderful friend. We have both experienced all that life can throw at us in the last 20 years but always find something to belly laugh about together (especially in the menopause years!). A love of flowers formed the basis of our friendship, through all of life's celebrations and difficult times. Without my shop, I would never have met many of my wonderful friends and their families.
That is the power of a local, independent small business. You can't replace human connection with online experience. Or AI come to that. We all need to connect and engage with other people. It is life affirming. It is essential. Without communities and the natural world we are soulless. A smile, a hug, a chat to ask how someone is feeling makes all the difference.
This is Claire's jug of joy. She treats herself to fresh, beautiful flowers every two weeks. They make her smile and bring her happiness regardless of what is going on out there.
