Not gona lie I’m pretty emotional writing this post 🥹

Our beautiful gals Kayla and Eilidh have left LPP and are onto pastures new ❤️

Kayla left a little while back but I’m glad I held off and did this post together because these two were wee work besties 🥰

KAYLA - our Ginger Spice 🧡 reliable, clever, hilarious, talented, gorgeous… I could go on and on! We were so lucky to have you and you’re missed so so much my girl 🥹 Kayla is off to uni to do Social Sciences and I know she will smash it just like everything else she does 🥰

EILIDH - our little barista babe 💜 watching you grow from the girl who didn’t say a word and was a tiny bit clueless in the workplace shall we say 😂 to the girl who ended up doing it all 🙌🏼 what a privilege it has been to watch you flourish 🌺 you’re a special, beautiful little human and I wish you all the happiness in the world as you move down South to begin a new chapter ❤️

I love these girls with all my heart ❤️

Just know if you ever work at LPP you’re never just “staff” you’re so so much more ❤️❤️❤️

🐞🎨 DOODLEBUGS 🎨🐞

The lovely Emma held her first Doodlebugs Art Class at LPP on Monday and it was a huge success 👏🏼

So I’m delighted that she is back Monday 4th August to share her artistic talents with your little people and allow them to explore their creativity 🙌🏼 while having lots and lots of fun! 🤩

The next session will focus on painting using a variety of different materials 🎨 it’s going to be messy and magical 🌟

Can you believe it’s August and there’s only a few weeks of the summer hols left?! 😮

July has been a bit hectic for us as a family but my wonderful staff have kept LPP going and I’m very grateful! ☺️

But here’s to a new month, new events, a new normal for us and hopefully lots of new customers (and old obv 🥰)

😦🤪 NEGLECTING THE SOCIALS 🤪😦

I really feel like I’ve been neglecting my social media these days and that’s making me feel pretty anxious/guilty/like a bit of a failure! 😞

Life is just so different now and I’m still working out how to be a mom of 2 while run a small business 🫠 and also … how can one tiny person result in SO MUCH MORE WASHING?! 😮 there are piles of clothes EVERYWHERE!! 😂😂

My LPP girls have been doing a great job holding the fort but I really can’t wait to be back full time, hosting parties and chatting to customers ❤️

Anyway…

We LOVE this quote by Leslie Means, give it a read:

The one ringing up your groceries, handing you your coffee, bagging your food, or wiping down a table.

She might be sixteen, maybe seventeen. It could be his first job. Maybe her second week. They’re learning how to show up, speak up, take responsibility, and handle tough moments with a smile.

They’re standing on their feet for hours, figuring out how to navigate customers, coworkers, and all the expectations that come with being “on.”

They’re learning how to work hard, how to listen, how to deal with the world as it is and they’re doing it all while still figuring out who they are.

So please be kind to the teen behind the counter.

You never know whose kid that is.

You never know how proud someone is of them.

You never know what kind of courage it took just to show up today.

And honestly? They’re doing better than we ever give them credit for. ❤️

🥁🎶 POP UP ZUMBINI 🎶🥁

This Thursday we have the wonderful Eilidh coming to do a pop summer Zumbini class and we know it’s going to be a big hit! 🤩

Zumbini is a music and movement class suitable for 6 months plus! And I promise you … IT IS FAB 👏🏼

Class starts at 11am but you can come from 10am and use our mini town for a discounted rate or if your little one is still too small then come along and enjoy a treat in the cafe ☕️
