*Born in the West Country, Maria was drawn towards the Arts from the young age of six years old. She obtained Hons in her dance class exams and m

oved away to study for her BA Combined Hons Degree in Northamptonshire in 1995.
*Graduating in 98 as a Bachelor of Arts, having excelled in Drama, Music & Theatre one of her three 'combined' subjects she attended numerous Vocal Teaching Courses, Singing Workshops and Seminars (including London’s Royal Academy of Music) to continue to develop her Singing and Vocal ability so that she could teach her favorite passion to others. Her extensive experience comes from having sung in pubs & clubs from the age of 18 years, performing in stage shows, singing on cruise ships (‘Serenade’-Cypress-Eygpt, 12 deck giant ‘Brittany Ferries’ with 4piece Jazz/Covers band ‘Evolution’, as well as on dry land with various function bands, duos and solo gigs across the UK and overseas.(*‘San Rameo’-Originals 5 piece Band, *‘Whose Got The Dog’-10 piece functions band, *King Click-Originals Band, *Tequila Mockingbird-4 piece pop/soft rock covers band, Duo's with *‘Cocktail’ and *‘Cover-Up’.
