Staircase of Dreams!

I loved dressing these stairs but if I’m honest it was actually more difficult than I anticipated. Getting them to sit right, be in proportion with each other whilst allowing for access down in the middle what harder than it looks.

To mark our 7th birthday here at BW (albeit a month late I know 🤦🏼‍♀️) and May being my birthday month I thought I would spread the birthday love to you all by offering our most popular balloon at a special offer price.

Glass effect bubble balloons are so classy ✨

Teamed up with mini black bows that are on hot on trend at the moment makes for the perfect balloon for that special celebration.

I love the vinyl design of this balloon. Numbers written in a script font rather than numerals definitely make it more elegant. What do you think?

Wow…7years! Happy birthday to me 🎉

It’s honestly been a rollercoaster of a journey. I absolutely love what I do but won’t lie, things have been a challenge along the way.

The biggest one being mum guilt 🥴
I’m out most weekends so have definitely felt that I’m missing quality time with my family but they are great and know that it’s all for them and they are my biggest cheerleaders.

Obviously Covid threw a spanner in the works but we move and since then I’ve continued to grow and succeed and I’m hugely proud of that 🥰

That being said I have definitely questioned if it’s what I want to continue with over the last year or so. It’s been a struggle one way or another, lost my mojo along the way and imposter syndrome definitely set in. I look at other artists around me and think that my work is rubbish compared to theirs and then the doubts set in. 😞

But when I get messages from people who say they adore my work and want to book me or I have my lovely customers who come back and order again year after year, I give my head a wobble and realise I am good enough.
I know it’s not just me that feels like this, everyone does who owns their own business and runs it single-handedly. Sometimes there’s just not enough hours in the day and everything gets overwhelming at times.

2025 has definitely started off on the right foot though and I’m so grateful to be busy with exciting bookings coming up over the next few months.
Thank you for all those that support me, it doesn’t go unnoticed and I’m truly grateful for each like, share, comment, booking and recommendations. Here to the next 7 years…hopefully 🤞🏻

Remember that Peppa Pig house I made? Well this is why.

My little Granddaughter is a big fan so to help her celebrate her 2nd birthday, in true Nanny style I decided to create her a birthday backdrop for her to wake up to on her special day.

Seeing her reaction to it was 100% worth the hours of painting and I’m so grateful I can get to do this for her. It’s all about the memories and sometimes people say ‘oh they’re not going to remember it, they are too small and it’s extra expense for no reason’ but I say its for us too. Knowing that we’ve made their day as special as we can and create beautiful memories for them to look back on is a great feeling.

By the smile on her face I think she like it 😊
