Someone once told me it’s important to pause and look back on everything you’ve achieved.
Just over two years ago, I sold the dance school I had built from scratch. After more than twenty years of teaching incredible humans and being part of so many families’ lives, everything stopped overnight. It was the right decision for many reasons — but it also threw me into an unexpected period of grief.
The past two years have been a healing journey, one I could never have walked without a handful of beautiful souls and the amazing Blackfeather community.
Today I’m looking back to our very first professional photoshoot with the brilliant .
Our debut models — , and — were absolute stars. Despite the freezing wind and long hours in Regent’s Park, I didn’t hear a single complaint. I’ll always be grateful to them, and to their parents who travelled for hours to support us. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and that unmistakable sense of something special beginning.
As I step into an exciting new chapter for Blackfeather, I’m so proud of everything we’ve built — and deeply grateful for the love, support, and opportunities that continue to come our way.
