I'm excited to say I am looking at a brand new, much larger, venue for my next wedding fair! Stoke Mandeville Stadium has a huge space just begging for a wedding fair. And even better it has good access to get in and easier to park!

We’ve had a few enquiries through recently which have had to be turned down due to existing bookings, so we thought it was time to emphasise how important it is to book your suppliers as soon as you have decided on your venue and date.

Here’s some reasons why:
• The earlier you book, the more likely your date is available.
• It gives us more time to work collaboratively and bring your vision to life
• It helps spread the cost: although initially we only require a deposit, the remaining balance can be split into instalments.
• The better something is planned, the less stressful it is for you.
• The aesthetic of your wedding is important - it’s the backdrop to all your photos!

Stuck on what information to include on your invitations?
Here’s our helpful guide 🫶🏻

There is no strict rules, but there are some things you definitely need to include to avoid the influx of questions from your guests later down the line.

Main Invitation:
Stick to the top line information; who, when, where.

Details card:
This is where you can get into more details about the day itself.
Include the full address, what time guests need to arrived and leave, venue facilities e.g parking on site, accommodation information, venue restrictions (some have rules about confetti and shoes) and taxi information.

RSVP
You need to include the deadline for replying, your contact information and a brief line about letting you know if they have dietary requirements.

Other things to think about are:
- menu choices
- QR codes for replying or website links if you have one
- dress codes
- if you are having a child free wedding

Some recent custom invitations for Lisa & Michael using a monogram format.
