It was a privilege to create the flowers for this beautiful and colourful farewell 🌈💐

🌈We understand that being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community can bring additional challenges. These can be made harder during a bereavement where you may not be sure whether you can be open and honest at an emotional time for fear of judgement or being treated differently.

The staff at Rosedale are professionally trained to the highest of standards, with the majority having undertaken specialist training provided by Norfolk Lgbtq+ Project and our colleagues are all dedicated to carrying out our duties with integrity, respect and care.

Our hanging baskets are finally up!

We've been busy adding a little extra colour to the outside of Inspired Flower Design, creating a cheerful welcome for everyone who visits us.

Over the last year, this place has become a very special home for our business, and we're proud to keep adding those little touches that make it feel bright, welcoming and full of life.

We can't wait to watch the baskets bloom throughout the summer and greet our customers with a beautiful display of flowers.

As the weather cools for a few days and the rain finally arrives, did you know storms turn carnations into ultimate drama queens! ⛈️🌸👇
​Here is the wild science behind their weather tantrums:
​A sudden storm chill makes internal petals grow so fast the green base literally splits open sideways!
​They get "jet lag": If storms delay flower shipments, stress makes them release a gas that triggers "sleepiness"—where petals permanently roll inward and won't wake up.
​They drown their stems: Those dense ruffles trap rainwater like a bucket, making the flower head too heavy for its slender stem to hold.
​They hate wet feet: Saturated storm soil suffocates their roots within hours, causing a total plant meltdown.

​Next time a storm hits, spare a thought for the carnations! 😅

One year ago this weekend, we opened the doors to our new workshop!

It was a time of huge change, holding the excitement of a new chapter alongside the quiet grief of losing someone incredibly special to us who shared our everyday life, our journey, our laughter, our worries and our little wins. A truly inspirational lady who believed in us from the very beginning.

The day we moved, a white feather welcomed us to the new space ...a sign she was still right there with us 🤍

Twelve months on, we are so grateful for how far we’ve come, carrying her memory in everything we create. We hope we are doing you proud! 🌿💕
