🌻Our venue is in bloom, and the season is just beginning! ☀️

During the warmer months, Mythe Barn has an endless amount of wildlife on its doorstep including the onsite beehives that contribute to the pollination of all the flowers around our area and in our very own wildflower meadow.🐝🌸

Sustainability is a key part of Mythe Barn's ethos and we implement measures to insure that we help the planet as much as we can! 🪴

This includes electric charging points for vehicles in the car park, coach services offered to groups of visitors from near bye train stations and using green energy like solar panels.🚗🚌

Our in house catering team joined forces with The Real Cake Company to treat our employees and local community to delicious tarts, cakes and deserts. 🧁

Thank you to everyone who came along, we are delighted to have raised £186.56 for this amazing charity. 💸

In the UK, 1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lives. The great work Macmillan do to support those experiencing cancer will be of benefit to us and our loved ones. ❤️‍🩹

A stunning day for giving back to our community 💪

Today some of our team headed down into the local village of Ratcliffe Culey to help with an organised litter pick. 🚮

Here in the countryside we find litter is common, spoiling our surroundings and causing danger to animals, insects and waterways, so we teamed up with local people to keep our roads clean. 🗑️

It turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far which made for a lovely team morning out in the sunshine. ☀️

Well done to Director Joanna Garland, PA Anna Gomm and Caitlin, Pat and Amanda Fulleylove from our Housekeeping team! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Macmillan Cancer Support Cake & Tea Afternoon on Monday.

We raised £155 for this special charity close to all of our hearts. With 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer so it is important we support Macmillan’s vital work.

Thank you to Hinckley & Rugby Building Society for coming down to support not only a great cause but to discuss all things sustainability with our owner Joanna Garland and Sustainability Champion Ellie Cashmore, it was an inspiring day filled with discussion around People and Planet. 🧑🏼‍🤝‍🧑🏽🌏

🍃 SUSTAINABILITY UPDATE 🍃

As you may well know, we take sustainability seriously here at Mythe Barn Events!

🎖️ As a proud GOLD rated ECOsmart venue, we work continuously to make positive changes - big and small!

🧼 Our latest update includes the installation of refillable Elemis toiletries, supplied by sustainable cosmetics organisation ADA Cosmetics. Elemis are a B Corp organisation, allowing us to maintain our luxury feel whilst reducing our impact.

🚯 Our house keeping team have worked up a new system for changing towels in our toilets, reducing the number of waste bags used per event by up to 8!

😇 We've launched a new charity policy for 2024, including up to 4 hours per team member volunteer work, a generous donation for each team member who fundraises and a promise to support specific charities close to our hearts.
