Saturday 29 August saw us setting up one of our sweet carts at another new venue for us, The Lake House at Hothfield, for the Ardo UK works summer bbq. It’s a lovely venue and the grounds looked amazing but unfortunately it turned out to be a very wet afternoon. Luckily there was lots of space indoors for everyone to enjoy themselves.

We supplied a Classic cart with sweets which were presented in our traditional plasticware (much safer than glass when there are lots of children in attendance). To these were added labels with the sweet name & any allergens they contained and they were decorated with green and orange ribbon & bows, the colours in the Company’s logo. Green & orange striped sweet bags were also supplied, plus scoops & tongs and a laminated list of all the sweet ingredients.

Sat. 4 July saw us back at the magnificent Eastwell Manor for the outdoor wedding ceremony of Leona & Adam. Such an amazing building with beautifully kept gardens and grounds.

We set up a Deluxe cart in the Chaucer Room with its lovely wood panelled walls. The cart was decorated with our white rose & greenery garlands, cream canopy and sage green bows to match the couple’s colour scheme. The bride & groom chose a selection of sweets which were displayed in glass containers with matching ribbons, to which we attached personalised labels showing the couple’s names, the sweet name & any allergens. They also close Ferrero Rocher chocolates which were displayed on our heart shaped Mr & Mrs stand. A laminated full list of ingredients, two sweet treat signs, personalised sweet bags & personalised Mr & Mrs bunting were all added to complete the look.

Sunday 7 June saw us at another new venue, this time Godmersham Village Hall for the 1st birthday celebrations of William. We provided a Classic cart with sweets chosen by William’s parents, which were displayed in our octagonal glass jars to which we added labels showing the sweet name and any allergens. We added green ribbons & bows to the jars and our full list of sweet ingredients, happy birthday bunting & personalised sign to the cart. We also supplied personalised sweet bags featuring animal heads, as the party had a safari theme. Mum Athesa added her own flower garlands, safari animals and animal lights to the cart. Everyone had a good time & enjoyed the sweets.

Yesterday saw us back at the magnificent Westenhanger Castle, near Hythe, where we set up one of our beautiful sweet carts in the marquee, for the Ashford School’s annual Year 13 Leavers Ball & Prize Giving. The cart was decorated in the School’s colours with matching ribbons & bows on the glassware which held sweets chosen by the students themselves. We hope everyone had a lovely evening and enjoyed the sweets.

Another week and another new venue. Yesterday saw us set up a Deluxe Cart at the splendid Hempstead House Hotel & Spa at Bapchild, Sittingbourne for beautiful bride Lina & her new husband Stuart. It was a hot, sunny day and perfect for their outdoor ceremony.

Our cart, set up in the Milton Room was decorated with our cream canopy, lights, white rose garlands, white hanging hearts and lightbox. We added baby blue bows to the cart and the sweet jars with their personalised labels, had ribbons & bows in baby blue to match the couple’s chosen colour scheme. The bride & groom also chose personalised sweet bags as a final touch.

We would like to thank Lina & Stuart for allowing us to play a small part in their special day and we wish them all the very best for the future.

This Sunday saw us at a new venue for us, the spacious Village Hall in the centre of Wye, where we were delighted to set up a Deluxe candy cart for the christening of the beautiful Alayna. The colour scheme was sage green botanical and the hall and our cart were decorated in those colours. We used our green foliage garlands with white roses & added sage green bows, balloons and a personalised sign to the cart.

The sweets chosen by Alayna’s parents were displayed in plastic ware, to which were added personalised sweet labels showing any allergens, with sage green ribbons & bows attached. We’re sure everyone had a great time and they certainly seemed to enjoy the sweets. We’d like to thank mum, Chantelle, for allowing us to be a part of Alayna’s special day.

Sunday 1 September saw us set up a Deluxe cart with sweets for the Twilight Wedding of Paul & Deniz at a new venue for us - The Barnyard at Sittingbourne. The service took place in the Apple Barn which was beautifully decorated in pastel shades with hundreds of twinkling lights, which created a magical setting. The rain held off & it turned out to be a lovely day.

The cart was decorated with white flower garlands & lights plus pastel ribbons & bows on the sweet jars & personalised labels. We added our ‘Just Married’ bunting & brown wicker hearts. The happy couple designed their own sweet bags.

We also supplied our personalised, lockable, Wedding Post Box.

We were pleased to be asked by bride Lucy to supply a sweet cart with glassware for her wedding to Anthony on Sat. 10 August at the splendid Broome Park Hotel & Golf Resort, near Canterbury.

We set up our Classic cart with cream canopy, warm white rose lights, glassware, scoops, tongs & 100 white sweet bags, in the marquee at the rear of the hotel. The happy couple added their own decorations and sweets. Despite the very hot weather causing several of the sweets to melt, I’m sure they were thoroughly enjoyed by all the wedding guests.

Friday 12 July saw us return to the beautiful Westenhanger Castle for the wedding of Chloe & Alex, where we were delighted to meet Sarah, mother of the bride who I had liaised with to organise the cart for her daughter.

We set up a Deluxe cart in the wonderful marquee & decorated it with our warm white rose lights, ‘Just Married’ bunting, sweet treat sign & hanging hearts. We added pale pink & pale blue striped bags & bows to the cart and pink, blue & lilac bows to the personalised sweet labels with matching ribbons on the sweet jars to match the couple’s colour scheme. Ferrero Rocher chocolates were displayed on our heart shaped Mr & Mrs stand.

The weather stayed fine which allowed the wedding to take place outside in the lovely gardens and the sweet cart went down well with both the adults & children.
