Our Story

March 2020 Postponed: Sadly due to the current situation The Ashford Classic Bike Show and Jumble on Easter Monday 13 April is postponed until Easter Monday, 5th April 2021.

The decision to postpone is taken with great disappointment, but, in the light of the Government announcement advising people to stay away from gatherings we have no choice. Avoiding the spread of the virus is of paramount concern and we do not want to expose any of the many people who are involved in the events to the risk of spread. Many of us are elderly, and will be self-isolating as from this weekend. Our first priority in the coming days is to cancel the arrangements that had been put in place. This will be an exceptionally busy time for us. We are working on rescheduling later in the year, more details will follow on www.elk-promotions.co.uk as they become available but do not hesitate to contact us if necessary. Can you let any people who are not online know, they may well appreciate a phone call from you.

We’re lucky enough to have a fantastic old bike scene in this country, but it’s likely that many classic motorcycle events will be badly affected this Spring. Remember to support our traders, many have mail-order facilities, which are open for business.

I hope we can count on your support when we get back to normal, hope to see you soon but meanwhile stay safe and well.
