Our friends at confidance are delighted to share their upcoming performance this weekend in Folkestone. There are still tickets left. After the performance there will be an amazing DJ set from The Bubble Club. Its going to be a great night, so do pop along!
Here’s the big one! For the headline of the festival on Saturday 4th July, we are delighted to be welcoming Mind the Gap. MTG have partnered with us and supported us over the past 10 years - it has been a joy to share practice and learning together. They have a performing arts programme and create really high quality works with learning disabled and autistic people in Bradford. This is a rare opportunity to catch their work in the south east so don’t miss out!
Their new piece ‘The shopping Basket Theory’ is a brand new dance-theatre duet in collaboration with John William-Watson made for Radical Motion!
What happens when doom and gloom meets cheer, when hopelessness meets hopefulness?
In this duet, two opposing characters search for connection and community whilst trying to embrace each other's differences. If they share the load, will they find empathy and common ground?
ConfiCo will follow, premiering ‘Give Me Space’ - a striking new work inspired by their lived experiences of disability. “People often mishear me. I want people to take the time to listen and understand me. I want people to give me more space…”
Using movement, spoken word and strong images, the piece explores how it feels to be excluded by systems and rules that don’t fit. But it’s also about strength, creativity and the fight to be heard and understood
This will be your last chance to see their show on this tour!
By buying your ticket to this double bill, you gain entry to our closing party!! Come and celebrate with us as part of a welcoming and vibrant party with incredible DJs.
