Dear Friends of Boughton Aluph & Eastwell, Clubs, Associations, Businesses, EVERYONE who is or wants to be a friend of the village,
As friends of BA&E we would like to share some ideas we have with you. You may be a long term resident or new to the village! You may be fully versed with our offerings or not. We are immensely lucky to have a number of pursuits and flourishing clubs within our community.
We would like to invite all friends, clubs, associations and businesses to an informal setting to discuss ideas and suggestions. This gathering aims to bring together as many representatives from the rich and varied clubs and associations as possible to understand and capture your offerings. The event is aimed at promoting all that we have, all that we do, and all that is planned in Boughton Aluph for 2020.
With your help and input we hope to develop an annual year planner and calendar of ‘What’s on in the village’ for all social and key activities; held in one central place – in short we want to help you spread your reach and do some social media promotional leg work, when and where required. We just need a overview, dates for regular meetings and or annual future events.
So, if you would like your club’s open day, taster day, new membership events, church celebrations or public meetings hosted within the village incorporated then please come along ensuring it is represented!
The vision is to promote all village events and activities to encourage further participation, fellowship and fun.
Wednesday 26th February 7pm - The Baptist Chapel, Wye Road.
A brief agenda will be published before hand; it will be aimed at assessing the appetite to develop and improve communications for BA&EW residents and friends – building on all the good work in place and position BA&E as a welcoming community to encourage new or shy members, and to show support to the very many loyal and long standing members.
