Meadow magic at Bilsington Priory 🌿💜

Some love stories don’t need to be rushed.

Helen and Tim first met at the University of York in the early 1990s. They built a life together, bought a home, travelled, laughed, and after 30 wonderful years together, decided it was finally time to say, “I do.”

They chose the beautiful Bilsington Priory because they share a love of historic places, and they knew this ancient setting was exactly where they wanted to begin this next chapter.

Originally they considered eloping with just the two of them, but instead shared this intimate moment with their immediate family and Helen’s best friend from university, before celebrating afterwards with a delicious afternoon tea.

Congratulations, Helen and Tim. Thank you for letting us be part of such a special chapter in your story.

The Return to Allington Castle

Beneath brilliant blue skies, the castle once again provided the perfect backdrop for a tablescape inspired by the elegance of an English summer. Clouds of delicate blue hydrangeas, decorative urns, trailing ivy, elegant linen, beautiful glassware and softly flickering faux candles came together to create a setting that felt both timeless and romantic.

Every detail was thoughtfully layered to complement the character of this remarkable castle allowing the architecture and gardens to remain the true stars of the show.

It is a reminder that exceptional styling is not about excess. It is about creating harmony between flowers, history, light and landscape.

A huge thank you to this wonderful team for bringing together a tablescape that looks effortlessly beautiful while celebrating the unique character of Allington Castle.
