Our next event, and it's a special one as we celebrate the past and present of the Raceway in the Ken Gibbs Veteran's Day...

Veteran's Day is always a spectacle, with the 'old guard' of Banger Racing showing they've not lost their skill in the Unlimited Veterans - with plenty of excellent memories reignited by seeing names from the past and present racing against eachother once again.

The Unlimited Old Skool rules class also provide a great way on track for the present and the future - with the Unlimiteds around Hednesford always an incredible sight!

The Back to Basics are also back after an excellent session last time they were at the Raceway, with these MOT failures providing plenty of thrills and spills.

It wouldn't be a celebration of the past without the Classic Hot Rods, who race for the Bill Morris Memorial English Open - the founder of the Raceway and the man we all have so much to thank for so many memories of the last 60+ years!

Caravan destruction will round off the day, with these mobile homes getting one last shot at glory before meeting their destiny as they are raced to oblivion on the track.

Whether it's the nostalgia of the Classic Hot Rods, the thrills and spills of Unlimited National Bangers and Back to Basic Bangers or the crazy Caravan Destruction Derby, there really is something for everyone!

Get your Grandstand seats for the Double World Final Weekend!

Costing £35 for the weekend (Friday-Sunday), you can book the best view of the racing to take in the action on this bumper-packed three days of Stock Car racing.

❓ Will I be given my own seat?
Yes, each Grandstand ticket has its own allocated seat for the whole weekend. When booking you can pick between block A, B and C.

❓ Where do I book?
Call 01252 322 920 to book during office hours - 9am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 9am-1pm Fri.

❓ Can I get a seat on the day?
Subject to availability grandstand seating can be purchased at the event for £15.00 per seat per day.

❓ Do kids need a seat?
For children (including under 5yrs) who require a seat a grandstand ticket will still need to be purchased costing £35.00 per seat for the 3 days. Don't forget, kids go free when booked with a 3 Day Advance admission ticket.

Racing in memory of a very special man, it's the Ken Gibbs Veterans Day next up at Hednesford Hills Raceway.

Ken adored Hednesford Hills Raceway; being a familiar face for so many years - particularly when it came to anything Banger racing related. As a driver himself, and a part of the Coventry Avengers team, whenever the #264 car took to the track in iconic yellow and blue colours it was always fantastic to watch - racing or wrecking!

Nothing shows Ken's dedication to the Staffordshire venue and our sport more than his creation of the annual Veteran's Day - a special day which remains one of the highlights of the venue's summer season. From proposing the idea all those years ago, to bringing back old faces to the venue right up until the modern day - thank you Ken for the memories.
