Prim and Proper Vintage are pleased to offer a variety of services for any occasion, whether it be a large scale wedding, christening, baby shower, props for a film set or simply just a garden tea party amongst friends, we can supply everything you need to pull off a memorable quintessentially English event filled with vintage charm. Prim and Proper Vintage offers a large range of beautifully deco

rative vintage items from china three-tiered cake stands, elaborate tea cups and saucers, charming teapots to a huge assortment of glassware, including crystal cut decanters, vases and bon bon dishes. We also stock a selection of linen such as delicate antique lace tablecloths, table runners, doillies, napkins or can source additional linen hire at your request. We don’t just stop at china and linen, we can also supply vintage/ kitsh assorted wine and water glasses for a really fun quirky mis-matched theme (it’s proven a great ice-breaker over dinner comparing glasses!), cutlery and vintage games. We also have a professional PA system and DJs for hire that WON'T cost the earth! And quite simply, if there is anything we don’t have please ask as we are always happy to extend our collection. Prim and Proper Vintage are pleased to offer a service as basic as hiring a few crockery items for collection / drop off, to help planning and managing your event, sourcing suppliers and supplying a collection big enough to dress your entire function.

It’s good to be back after a winter off! First up, we have a lovely baby shower party this weekend and helping supply props and glassware for a beautiful rustic wedding!

We had the privilege of doing our 4th event for our lovely loyal clients today.
Amy from Prim and Proper Vintage played hostess with the mostest whilst Gavin from Bennetto’s Catering cooked up a storm in their kitchen!

On his vegetarian and gluten free menu was:
Canapes -
Sweet potato, goats cheese and avocado parcels
Cream cheese and chive belinis
Wild mushroom on polenta bites

Main course
Tofu and quinoa stir fry
Infamous Game Pie (not gluten free or veggie!)

Desert
Pecan, cranberry and almond pie
Polenta and orange cake with citrus mascopone

Our clients couldn’t praise Gavin highly enough for his freshly home baked feast, whilst being waited on hand and foot by Amy - all served in the comfort of their own home with not an item of washing up to do after!
