A PASSIONATE soul fan for years , Alan doesn't really need an introduction to anyone in the East Midlands , but he has a residency at Rolls Royce in Derby where he kicks of the musical magic in the NORTHERN room. You couldn't wish to meet a nicer person who would give his soul to help fellow Soul Fan. Started paid Djing at 14 , then escaped to Cornwall in 76 ,yes 1976 CHEEKY , started with 60s Soul 70s Soul including Northern ,then drifted into JAZZFUNK, funk etc ,mainly due to influences such as Cleos and club Vouge in Derby Hector Heathcote. I sold my kit in the early 80s along with a much missed part of my collection. I have been active as a trader on the northern soul scene for the past 8 years ,and as a soul show presenter at www.ambersoundfm.com Tuesday's at 9pm.
