The Scottish Government is officially backing 👏

Scotland’s Deputy First Minister, Jennifer Filruth, and Callum Kerr MSP have both written to the UK Government to support the campaign’s call to cut hospitality VAT to 10%.

This follows last week’s campaign launch in Glasgow and the industry-wide open letter signed by more than 100 hospitality businesses and chefs, including Tom Kitchin, Lorna McNee and Tony Singh.

With one of the highest VAT rates in Europe, hospitality businesses face immense pressure, and up to 21 businesses are closing every week.

Support your favourite venues and local jobs by signing the petition.
