I've been on the soul scene since the mid 1970s, and a DJ for most of that time. I was a columnist for the national music weekly Black Echoes in the 1980s, along with writing for several other soul publications. I had my own soul shows on FM radio in Cambridge, Norwich, Peterborough & the surrounding area in the 1990s and worked alongside acts such as Carleen Anderson, Incognito, Womack & Womack and the Brand New Heavies. I have DJd in many major cities and top venues including London, Amsterdam and Brighton, working alongside bands such as the Hot 8 Brass Band and DJs including Craig Charles, Keb Darge, Dave Evison, Colin Curtis, Ian Clark, Chris Brown, Max Rees and Mick Fuller.
