As of today England has moved to Step 4 of the Covid unlocking program.
At Test Valley Bridal Boutique we are committed to keeping you and ourselves as safe as we can from contracting Covid 19 (Any variant).

As a business we will:

• Continue to clean with anti-viral wipes before and after every appointment.
• Continue to ask customers to check in for their appointments. (Although not legally required it is still a valuable tool)
• Be encouraging customers to use hand sanitiser or handwashing facilities as they enter the premises.
• Be asking COVID-19 related screening questions to clients

– Are you required to be self-isolating?
– Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?
– Do you have a high temperature?
– Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell?
• Keeping the boutique well ventilated by opening the windows and where possible having the door open.
• Limiting numbers in the boutique
• Be testing (Lateral flow) twice weekly

Face coverings are no longer required by law and it is down to the individual to assess the risk. As we are testing twice weekly and the contact we have with customers is going to be in a well ventilated, clean environment we will not regularly wear a mask for an appointment. HOWEVER if you feel at risk , please ask us to and we will wear one.

What we ask of you as a customer:

• Have not been abroad in the previous 10 days to your appointment
• Be symptom free for your appointment.
• Have had a negative lateral flow test in the previous 72 hours(If possible)
• Check into our venue

These measures will be reviewed regularly and will be in place as long as there is an identifiable risk of Covid.

Hello All

From Wednesday 2nd December we are back.

Test Valley Bridal Boutique, and Test Valley Textiles

ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS.

I have been rested and am raring to go with making you all look fabulous in your dresses

I will be in contact in the new year with all the brides that have dresses stored with me to have a fitting (just to check that we are still on track and to make any adjustments needed due to lockdown)😀😀😀

For those that are planning to get married next year come and see our designer dresses for your big day.

Hello All
From Wednesday evening we have to close both the Bridal Boutique(Test Valley Bridal Boutique) and the alterations side of the business, (Test Valley Textiles)in line with the government guidelines until at least 2nd December 2020.
During the last lockdown i used the time to try to catch up on my backlog of work and was nearly able to.
All this work and stress has taken a toll on me and my pain has flared a good few times and i am exhausted. This lockdown i am able to furlough myself and am going to use the time to look after myself, my family, relax & recuperate so that WHEN we open again i am fighting fit.
I have already contacted the appointments i had booked in November and sorted the delay with them. I will not be taking in ANY new work during the lockdown
Stay safe everybody, obey the rules and will see you on the other side.

Sad about this but we will be back

Another devastating blow to all our suppliers and all you lovely brides following yesterday's announcement by the PM.

We, like you, are so upset that weddings have yet again been put on hold but we will weather the storm and come back stronger as will our suppliers and friends in the wedding industry.

The most important thing over the coming months is that we support each other and be kind to one another. With kindness, we will make it through this difficult period ###
