Looking for the perfect festive activity to enjoy at home?

Our At Home Wreath Workshops are now live!
These kits provide everything you need to form your festive decoration (in the comfort of your own home) taught via a pre-recorded video, so you can create at your own pace and time of your choosing ⭐️

This year, we have two beautiful designs to choose from, each with specific decorations:

R I C H Y U L E T I D E:
Pine cones, orange balls, gold baubles, cinnamon sticks, and burgandy velvet ribbon.

S O F T N O E L:
Pine cones, lime balls, silver baubles, blue viburnham berries, and green check ribbon.

Our At Home Wreath Workshop kits are available to order online or in the shop for collection and local delivery from 25th November- 12th December 🎄

Next week, we are so excited to begin our Autumn/Winter classes for Emi's Flower Club!

For this set of 3 workshops, we will learn traditional flower arranging techniques, and for each class, be immersed in the world of floristry! We hope for it to be a mix of joyful creativity and valuable learning, taking away skills that can be adapted to everyday arrangements as well as creating for special occasions 🍂

The first class will be bouquet making, with you having the freedom to choose your bespoke flower selection from our table. Second, we will create a seasonal garland, complete with autumnal foliages and decorations. And finally, our favourite workshop - Christmas wreath making! 🎄

It's our 7th birthday! 🎉
It's been such a wonderful 7 years of flowering! And we are so grateful for so many things....

1. Our customers! It has been such a joy to flower for each and every one of you - thank you so much for every order, visit to our shop, and kind words! It has been even more of a joy to get to know you and your favourite flowers over our 7 years of shop keeping 🩷🌸

2. The sturdy walls of our shop!
The year before we opened our flower shop, Emi Floral Designs consisted of lovely flowers in a very flimsy gazebo at Ampthill market! We will forever remember the windy days, trying not to blow away, and are always thankful to have permanent walls!

3. Being a small business in Ampthill! We get to call this most beautiful town our home, be neighbours with other wonderful independents - plus we get to celebrate wonderful events like the annual Ampthill Christmas light switch on (held in November- we're excited!)

4. That we get to work with beautiful flowers! Our favourites change every season and are celebrated on our flower table and in our bouquet of the month - and they smell nice too!

5. That we get to know our makers! So many independent creaters make the gorgeous items that line our shelves - from handmade candles from Shaftsbury, to our mini cards illustrated in Brighton, to ceramics formed in the Peak District. We love to see the new things they create and catch up on their lovely news with every order!

6. Getting to share our knowledge! Thank you so much for attending our workshops over the years! We love sharing all our flower tips and tricks with Emi's Flower Club and our annual catch ups during our Christmas Wreath Workshops, which for many of you has become a tradition for the season, which is such a joy to be able to share! Thank you so much for being part of it all!

7. That we get to love what we do! We are grateful every day that we get to help celebrate people's most important days, special celebrations, and bring joy with our flowers- to ourselves and (hopefully) all of you!

Yesterday evening was very seasonal in our flower shop, as we hosted our Autumn Wreath Workshop!

From simple metals wreath rings, with a lot of moss, wiring, and all the seasonal foliages, these gorgeous door decs were formed 🍂

Fuelled with cinnamon buns, we added the finishing touches of hydrangeas, skimmea, berries, pine cones, and orange slices 🧡

Each month, new flower species bloom and become the highlight of our flower table and our bouquet of the month 🌷

Our September flower table showcases Hydrangeas, Eustoma, Spray Roses, Hypericum Berries, Snapdragons, Astrantia, and Roses, all in the most beautiful rich tones in addition to our classic pastels!
As always, the foliage buckets are full underneath to accompany all our bouquets and bunches 🍂

Every morning, we receive a fresh flower delivery and arrange all of our beautiful blooms in vases on our table, ready for you to pick up whichever steams you like! Simply pop in a vase at home to enjoy, or we can arrange for you in a bunch or bouquet 🌸
