Giving this trend a go…….I thought it might be a nice way to introduce myself, my family and our shop story.

Hello 👋🏻 We’re the Roberts family: Sally, Calan, Casey 16 & Harley 5. We’ve been shop keeping for 14 years. I take care of the day to day running of the business with help from Amy who’s a full time member of the team and also my niece 🥰.

Here’s a short explanation to each photo.

2025 - Finalist’s in the best independent retailer Wales category at the Reta awards in London. What a fabulous day we had!

2024 - Casey joined us for work experience. He’d broken his arm and couldn’t go where planned. We made sure he had jobs to do!

2023 - Opened up another shop across the road. We’re short on space in the card shop. At you will find Jewellery, Fashion and Homeware.

2022 - Decorating the window is one of my favourite tasks. This one is possibly my all time favourite so far. Full of beautiful homeware 😍

2021 - Had the shop front painted to lift our spirits post covid. What a year that was!

2020 - Visited the shop during lockdown to do a new window filled with bright rainbow colours and took the opportunity for a photoshoot ❤️

2019 - Expecting our little miracle - Harley 💙 He was worth the wait xx

2018 - Decorated the window to celebrate a local lad ’s golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

2017 - Another window display and this one is my favourite ever Christmas window. We love a Christmas window ❄️

2016 - Proud sponsor of Amlwch Town Juniors football team 2016/2017

2015 - Calan and Casey building a Yankee Candle display unit one evening. Many a night shift or a Sunday put in over the years

2014 - The year I decided to take on . A Welsh jewellery brand and a firm favourite for with our customers

2013 - Christmas 2013 and I used to decorate Christmas trees in the centre of the shop - it was so Christmassy 🎅🏻

2012 - A year in and we have a very full display! The little cushions were a great seller

2011 - Opened up in Aug 2011 and started off slow and steady to get a feel for what I wanted to stock.

She’s been brewing up a storm and we’re excited to be able to offer this product in our area.

This little cutie is an independent retailer exclusive and we’ve only received a tiny handful.

The Steepy tea bags are now available to purchase IN STORE ONLY. Here are some conditions of sale to make it as fair as possible:

💠One per family
💠No reserving

I know many will have to travel to get here, please consider if it’s worth it before you set off, as I anticipate they will sell out quickly. I will edit this post when they do sell out and also announce it on stories.
