COME TO OUR CONCERT THIS SUNDAY!! It is featuring brilliant polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz

Fun Fact no 2:
Our composer “competed” in the Olympic Games in 1948!
In the 1948 Olympic art competition, Bacewicz received an honourable mention for her Olympic Games Cantata. So, technically, she is one of very few composers associated with the Olympics!

let’s enjoy some FUN FACTS about this incredible creator:
Fact no 1. Grażyna Bacewicz performed in secret during World War II. During the German occupation of Warsaw, public Polish cultural life was heavily restricted and she took part in underground concerts, helping preserve Polish musical culture despite enormous personal risk! How cool is that?
