Please read, important information. So for around 18 months I’ve been trying to decide (apologies to close friends and family who’ve listened to me banging on about this for a good year!) on how to take my business forward. When I started up, I only ever meant to be a wedding florist. In fact, my official business name is actually “Moira J wedding florist”. Catchy, I know! haha! I kind of fell in to taking funeral and tribute work, gift orders and doing deliveries by accident! So fast forward quite a few years and weddings are busy…very busy...I’m booking well in to 2028 just now and they’re coming in thick and fast! I do all the work personally as that’s what my couples hire me for. They’re also my favourite work. I love everything about them, happy occasions, beautiful venues and meeting so many lovely people…couples and fellow wedding professionals alike. 😊 So after being full speed ahead for the last 8 years (and almost 37 years in floristry) trying to single handily keep on top of wedding, funeral and gift work, something’s gotta give! I’ve decided to make my work/life balance (that hasn’t been a balance at all for years tbh!) a bit easier to manage. Going forward I’ll be doing what I love best and give my weddings my 100% full attention (and myself a couple of days a week off!)
Now don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be super busy…weddings are a lot of work so no retiring to Spain for me yet :D but just not 7 days a week busy.
I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has asked me for gifts, remembrance tributes etc. over the years, especially all of my regular customers, I really have appreciated every order. Everyone who has ordered funeral tributes from me, my love and gratitude for trusting me with such special and meaningful work.
I hope you’ll stick around on social media to see all the stunning weddings I have planned, there’s some beauties coming up. 🥰💚
p.s if you have an order already placed with me, rest assured it will be fulfilled 🥰
