🌿 Our Last Day at the Plant Palace 🌿

After 5 amazing years here, today we close this chapter with full hearts 💚

Thank you to everyone who’s shopped with us, cheered us on, and filled your homes with our plants – you’ve helped us grow more than we could have imagined.

And to our brilliant team – you’ve been the roots that kept us grounded.

Closing One Door… and Opening a New One

After 5 wonderful years, we’ve made the heartfelt decision to close the doors of our Green & Grounded store in Altrincham.

To every single person who has supported us — whether you popped in for a plant, stopped for a chat, or simply loved what we were doing — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support has meant the world. We’ve made friends for life, and as proud Alty people, we’ve absolutely loved being part of this community.

A huge shoutout to our incredible team, past and present — your passion, creativity, and kindness helped shape the shop into something truly special. You made it feel like home and inclusive for so many.

But this isn’t the end — it’s just the beginning of a new chapter 🌿

We’re excited to be launching at , where you’ll find us every week with the same love for plants, flowers, people, and community (with a few exciting changes on the horizon too).

Our last day in the shop will be Saturday 16th August, before we fully migrate to the market.

🪴🪴Just landed in our palaces 🪴🪴

Payday weekend = plant shopping and we have some beauties this weekend including this fab Anthurium.

Anthurium villenaorum is a striking and sought-after aroid known for its velvety, dark green leaves with prominent white venation. Native to the Peruvian rainforest, it’s a compact, upright plant, making it ideal for indoor houseplant and has the added bonus of being a relatively low maintenance plant.

Hop into our plant palace and flower emporiums this weekend and grab a fab Anigozanthos AKA Kangroo Paw plant.

This all rounder plant can be kept indoors or a conservatory and will flower in spring and summer- and course it is native to Australia 🇦🇺

A few changes to our opening hours next week.

Both stores will be closed on Sunday (11th).

Altrincham will be closed, Tuesday and Wednesday. Open as normal from Thursday.

Sale open as normal

We are taking well deserved week off and Emily and Naomi will be at the helm.

Please continue to support our indie business, I am not going to lie retail is a tough place at the moment and Rowan and I have been working 60hr weeks to continue our battle against these tough times.

We have some absolute beautiful plants and flowers available at the moment so why not pop down and support your local plant palace and flower emporium

Alocasia Lukiwan is a striking hybrid alocasia known for its large, glossy, deep green leaves with prominent white veins. It’s a popular choice for adding a tropical touch to homes.

This plant, a hybrid of Alocasia sinuata and Alocasia alba, was developed by Wawan Santoso and named after his wife and himself.
