A recent review from one of my super mum clients Emma 💪🏼Looking to find the time to work out with two children under 2 😅Emma contacted me to see if I could help her get fitter and stronger after two pregnancies so close together.

As a pre and post natal qualified instructor I was able to coach her using specific exercises that would help her work hard without risking any injury.

Creating a bespoke workout each week to ensure she reached her goals, challenging her but also encouraging her on the sleep deprived todays when she didn’t always believe in what she was capable of achieving.

Whether you’ve recently had a baby or you’ve taken a break from fitness or you are working out but just feel stuck not making progress, Move it with Bec could be the answer you are looking for.

My PT style is friendly, encouraging and empowering. I’ll always believe in you even on the days you may not! Bringing my equipment and expertise to the comfort of your own home, you are able to maximise your time getting fit instead of travelling to and from a gym.

Warm chickpea, veg & feta salad

Bursting with flavour, this is the perfect lunch for a slower Sunday and provides a second portion for Mondays lunch, woohoo!

You’ll need:
1 red onion
1 courgette
1 pepper
5 tbsp of olive oil
Juice of half a lemon
3 tsp of chopped fresh parsley
Can of chickpeas
100g of feta cheese
Sun-dried tomatoes

> Preheat oven to 200C or gas mark 7
> Chop the veg and put into a shallow roasting dish, season with pepper and drizzle 2 tbsp of olive oil, mix it up and roast for 30mins, stirring halfway through
> Meanwhile mix the lemon juice and remaining olive oil, season with salt and pepper and stir in the parsley
> Take the veg out of the oven, allow to cool for 5 mins and cook your chickpeas in the microwave. Add them all together into a mixing bowl along with the dressing
> Add in the feta and sundried tomatoes, half the contents into a container for tomorrow then serve and devour the rest immediately!

What an atmosphere out in Altrincham today for the Manchester marathon! It blows my mind how many thousands of people can commit to run over 26 miles, so incredible 😅but I’ll leave that to them!!

I might not be able to compete on the calorie burning today but you know my mantra, little and often for the win! You need to raise your heartbeat to burn fat, that means getting out of breath and getting sweaty!! Knackering 😅but effective! Try this killer 10 minutes (45secs, rest 15secs each exercise) get some tunes on and let’s move:

Diagonal jumping squats
Spider climbers
Ski jumps
Mountain climbers
Lunge with hop
REPEAT

Happy 1st birthday to MOVE IT WITH BEC!!!

I can’t believe this business launched a whole year ago today and I am so thankful for how it has grown and all of the incredible clients I have met and who have chosen me to work with ❤️

Find a job you love and you’ll never work another day in your life…it’s so true! Whether I’m personal training, instructing in classes, planning sessions or working on all the things behind the scenes (marketing, finance etc) I truly love it all and feel so motivated and excited for what’s coming next.

I really appreciate all of your support following my journey online, spreading my message of how movement can enhance your life 🙌🏻Thanks again to everyone who has trained with me this past year, the recommendations you have made to your friends, the incredible feedback you’ve given me and to the Mummys who let me cuddle their babies & little ones, I mean, it really is the best job!

Final cheesy thank you to my incredible husband who always supports me in everything I do, him and my parents and sister who are my biggest cheerleaders and of course my beautiful boys who spur me on to do everything I do 🩵🩵🩵

I see this statement pop up on my feed SO many times from influencers, health experts, celebrities but honestly do they not get that sleep isn’t always our own choice!!

Right now my sleep thief is a verrry cute but a far too energetic 1 year old but in the past it might have been work stress, health worries, family concerns, pregnancy or just good old general anxiety! Instead of obsessing over quantity I’ve shifted my focus to quality as I think that’s something I can attempt to control.

Even when my energy levels are low I ALWAYS exercise. It sounds counterintuitive but moving actually generates more energy for me and definitely more endorphins. It fuels me to make better food choices which is especially challenging when you’re tired, your instinct is to grab something sugary to give you that hit but we all know it’s short term and actually makes you feel worse.

If you’re feeling lethargic and as a result not eating helpfully then I believe movement is your answer. Just 10 minutes a day conscious movement, building up in strength and pace can make ALL the difference. When you do go to bed in the evening your body will feel tired and in turn will beat your mind in making you fall asleep (I am asleep when my head touches the pillow lately!!).
