Just a week away and we have returned to a garden in bloom. June is certainly ‘bustin’ out all over! And it is British Flowers Week, too, when we highlight the best about buying locally grown flowers and encourage you to support your local flower farm: lower carbon footprint, everything grown with care and attention to the environment with butterflies and bees in mind, and the importance of supporting local businesses - use them or lose them as they say!

We grow beautiful flowers just for you to enjoy in your own home or to gift. They are grown with lots of care and attention without the use of pesticides and harmful chemicals. They will have very little carbon footprint as they will have been grown from seed in our unheated greenhouse in Medstead and then nurtured for many weeks and months, sometimes years before they are ready to cut and find their way into your posies and bouquets. Just imagine, each flower will have been selected and picked especially for you! Flowers are cut to order so you receive the freshest of fresh to enjoy for longer so a minimum of 24 hours notice is appreciated to ensure availability. Prices from £15 for a pretty jar posy.

Bunches of summer are lovingly grown on our flower fields in the Hampshire village of Medstead. No bunch, bouquet or posy will be the same as another, all unique and grown using organic principles with butterflies and bees in mind. Ladybirds too!
All flowers are cut to order to ensure you receive the freshest of fresh to enjoy the flowers for longest, so a little notice to ensure availability is welcome.

How many flower stems make a pretty jug posy?
Probably more than you might think so when ordering a DIY bucket of lovelies it is a good idea to make up a trial posy to guage just how many flowers you will need for your event. Oh, and don’t forget to add a few extra as stem breakages are an inevitable part of flower arranging!

Just a few of the wonderfully colourful and scented flowers grown on our little flower farm in sunny Medstead! All grown with butterflies and bees in mind, using the squish technique to reduce the numbers of aphids rather than heading for the chemical sprays.

We grow our own flowers on our little flower farm in Medstead just for you! Not at all like those you can buy at the supermarket or even your local florist because we grow cottage garden style flowers and cut to order. This means you receive them as fresh as can be so you can enjoy their colours and scents for longest! Our customers usually collect from us but we can also deliver locally.
As well as bouquets, bunches and jar posies we offer you the chance to pick your own. We can also supply buckets of our lovelies for you to arrange. We can also offer you and a friend the opportunity to receive a guided tour of our flowers and pick your own jar posy all followed by a cup of tea and cake in the gardens under the guise of Tea 4 Two! Once you have alliums in your garden you will always have alliums in your garden! Anyone who has grown them will know….. bit like potatoes, you’ll find them for years after you thought you had dug them all up!
Gorgeous as a fresh flower in a mixed bouquet, en masse or as a fabulous dried flower. So versatile!
