Alrewas Answers: Episode Twelve ✨

One of the questions we’re often asked is what the morning of your wedding day looks like at Alrewas Hayes.

From a relaxed start in the dressing room with your bridesmaids, through to those quieter moments in the bridal suite just before the ceremony, the morning is designed to feel calm, considered and unhurried.💍

And don’t worry we know it’s just as important for the groom and his groomsmen to have a space. We offer our Bentley room where suits can be put on, gifts and drinks can be shared, and most importantly to have a moment before entering the ceremony.

It’s a gentle beginning to a very special day.🤍

Some ceremonies feel intimate in their stillness.
Others feel powerful in their scale ✨

At Alrewas Hayes, our Lakeside space allows room for both.

From beautifully personal setups surrounded by your closest people, to larger mandap ceremonies filled with colour, music, tradition and celebration, the space transforms so effortlessly to reflect the feeling of the day.🤍

One of the things we love most about hosting multicultural weddings is seeing each ceremony shaped so intentionally. Every detail considered, every tradition honoured, every moment shared together.💍

And somehow, no matter the scale, it always feels personal.

A poem for the Alrewas Hayes June Bride ✨

There is something about June that feels like it has always been meant for marriage.💍

A month that arrives with long days, soft evenings, and a sense that everything is gently stretching into its most beautiful version of itself.

At Alrewas Hayes, the season has already shifted. The wisteria that framed spring in soft purples has begun to fade, leaving behind deep greens and the first signs of summer’s fullness taking hold.

And in its place, the light changes.
Longer days mean longer golden hours, the kind that settle across the estate in the late afternoon, wrapping everything in warmth just as the day begins to slow. It is often in these moments that the grounds feel at their most cinematic, as if time is briefly pausing to take it all in.

June has long carried meaning beyond the season itself.

Named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage, hearth and childbirth, it was once believed that weddings held in her month would be blessed with prosperity, fertility, and lasting happiness.

And so the idea of the “June bride” was born, not just a date in the calendar, but a symbol of romance, beginning, and a life unfolding with promise.

Perhaps that is why so many couples are drawn to it still.

Because there is something about this month that feels aligned with light, with warmth, with the feeling of everything arriving exactly as it should.

And for a June bride…

It feels like being held by the very best part of the year.🤍

Some wedding spaces completely transform the moment your vision enters them.✨

For this real wedding celebration at Alrewas Hayes, the Great Barn became something almost unrecognisable beneath layers of soft drapery, candlelight and florals. The kind of setup that stops a room in its tracks.

Slide three will always remain one of our favourites. That quiet moment of disbelief as the bride first walked in, flowers lifted to her face, completely overwhelmed seeing everything brought to life exactly as she had imagined it.🤍

And whilst the scale of the celebration was breathtaking, what we love most is how the rest of the estate still became part of the story too. Moments stolen around the grounds, quieter corners of the house, and portraits that allowed the day to still feel personal amongst such a large celebration.

The Great Barn has always been a space that allows couples to think bigger, whether through draping, production, cultural ceremonies or large guest numbers, whilst still feeling connected to the wider estate around it.

And for those couples still searching for a 2026 date for a larger celebration… sometimes the most extraordinary weddings come together a little later than expected.

Meet the Team.

We thought it was about time we introduced our multigenerational family ✨

At Alrewas Hayes, being family-run isn’t just something we say. It’s something you feel, from the first conversation to the final moments of your wedding day💍

Each person here plays their part.

The calm in the morning, the organisation behind the scenes, the attention to the details you may not even notice, all coming together to make the day feel effortless.

The coordinators who keep everything moving, the team working quietly in the background, and of course, the matriarchs of the family, Toby and Bonnie.

Different roles, different strengths, but all with the same care for how your day feels.

So once a month we can’t wait to introduce you to each of our family members. This is Emma, one of our wedding and events Managers, and the first in our Meet the Team series. We ask Emma why Alrewas? What is her favourite part of a wedding and finally what her favourite canapé is.
